B91 by VIDI — A Genuine Milanese Home in the Heart of Tibaldi/Navigli
There are parts of Milan that tourists rarely find — neighbourhoods where the city still belongs to the people who live in it, where the bar on the corner has been there for forty years, where the tram rattles past palazzo windows every few minutes and nobody looks up. Via Brioschi 91 is one of those places. And B91 is the apartment we opened so that you could experience it too.
The apartment
B91 is a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a classic Milanese palazzo — the kind of building that has seen a century of the city pass by from its tall windows. Inside, the ceilings are high, the floors are dark parquet, and the rooms look onto a quiet internal courtyard that keeps the space bright and peaceful throughout the day. It is not a hotel room dressed up as a home. It is a home, carefully prepared for guests who appreciate the difference.
Throughout the apartment you will find an original collection of "The Milaneser" illustrated prints — a series celebrating Milan's architecture, its streets and its identity. They give B91 a character that is unmistakably local and genuinely ours.
Bedroom and living area
The bedroom is the heart of the apartment: a generous double bed dressed in white linen, a large mirrored wardrobe, a writing desk and a wall-mounted Smart TV with access to all major streaming platforms via your own personal accounts. It is a proper room — quiet, well-proportioned and designed for rest.
The living area is built around a comfortable three-quarter double sofa bed — fitted with a quality topper that makes it genuinely comfortable for two additional guests, not an afterthought. A large Smart TV with full streaming access, an extendable dining table — comfortably seating up to four people — that can also be folded away to transform the living area into a second sleeping space, and air conditioning complete the room. A space that works equally well for a quiet evening in or a lively dinner with friends.
The bathroom is bright — its own tall window lets in natural light — with a walk-in shower, bidet and all the essentials. The kitchen is fully equipped for serious cooking: induction hob, oven, full-size fridge, and all the pots, pans and utensils you need. The washing machine is tucked into the kitchen, practical and discreet.
What we prepare for you
We believe the first hour in a new place sets the tone for everything that follows. So we make sure it starts well. Fresh towels and bed linen are ready when you arrive. In the bathroom, each guest will find a personal kit — shower gel, shampoo, soap, cotton buds, make-up remover pads and a nail file. On the table, a VIDI welcome kit with a personal note from us.
Before you arrive, we will send you our digital guide to the apartment and the neighbourhood — everything you need to feel at home from the moment you walk through the door: how the appliances work, where to have breakfast, which canal-side bar is worth the Friday evening queue, and which pizzeria the locals actually go to.
Getting around Milan
One of B91's greatest practical advantages is its connection to the city. The tram 15 stop is approximately 200 metres from the apartment, on Via Pezzotti. This single line runs on an almost entirely dedicated track straight to Piazza Duomo — no changes, no connections, just Milan passing by the window. Along the way it intersects with M2 at Abbiategrasso, M4 at Santa Sofia, M3 at Missori and M1 at Duomo, giving you access to the entire city's metro network from one line.
A few minutes' walk away is Tibaldi/Bocconi railway station, served by suburban lines S4 and S9 — connecting directly to Porta Garibaldi, Repubblica, Porta Venezia and the M4 line for Linate airport.
From Linate, the M4 brings you to Santa Sofia in around 15 minutes, where you board tram 15 directly to Via Pezzotti. From Malpensa, the Malpensa Express reaches Cadorna or Centrale, both connected to tram 15 via one metro stop. From Orio al Serio, a direct coach to Centrale and the same straightforward connection from there.
After midnight, the N15 night bus covers the tram 15 route, so the city is yours at any hour.
The neighbourhood
Tibaldi sits at the quiet southern edge of the Navigli district — close enough to feel its energy, far enough to sleep well. Step outside and within five minutes on foot you will find the Naviglio Grande and the Naviglio Pavese, two of Milan's historic canals lined with restaurants, aperitivo bars, vintage shops and weekend markets. The Darsena — the city's old harbour, now a gathering place for locals on warm evenings — is a short walk away.
The immediate surroundings are genuinely residential, with a varied selection of places from breakfast to dinner — cafés, restaurants, pizzerias — offering different experiences and flavours every day, all just steps from home.
