Romantic Sonoma Creek Cottage With Pool & Spa

We were so happy to host you, Una! Thank you for the review. We agree; the property is quite the gem! It feels away from it all and yet so close to so many lovely places to enjoy. We can't wait to welcome you again!!

We find this review distressing for three major reasons. 1. In the multiple-times-per-day correspondence with this guest, it became clear that they believed the surface of the water in this rural pool should be pristine at all times. In reality, the pool was never out of service in anyway and it was serviced during their stay. Of note, this pool is surrounded by trees and next to a creek so it can accumulate leaves and debris on the surface during guest stays. When the guest was directed to use the pool sweep as needed, correspondence ended. 2. Interestingly enough, the guest never mentioned the bigger issue of cleanliness of the sofa bed. It is curious to us that this guest did not mentioned this issue in the many emails regarding the pool. If this fabricated story was true, and communicated, Dream Sonoma would have been there immediately to rectify the situation. (It is also strange that a party of two, a married couple, would not have offered the vacant spare bedroom to their son instead of offering him a chair.) 3. The owner of Dream Sonoma personally did the final check of the property prior to this guest arrival. The pool was filled and swept and every bed including the sofa bed along with every other aspect of the home and property was thoroughly checked. We apologize that the lack of a full-time pool boy was not on staff for this guest, maybe then, he would have enjoyed the property and not left a untruthful review.
