The unit was slightly dated but an overall comfortable stay and great views of the beach from all rooms. A heads up that the showers in both rooms are enclosed shower tub combos and are pretty narrow. The beds were a little uncomfortable and could have benefited from a mattress pad/topper. Also the living room balcony door is very hard to open. Other than that it’s a fantastic complex to stay in! The staff is super accommodating and friendly and the complex feels safe and comfortable. The security guards at the entrance after very friendly and super helpful getting you to the right process to get started on your stay.Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Perfect location for exploring all of the panhandle!

We enjoyed our stay at El Matador.

We thought the location was great. Maybe it was the time of year, but the beach was practically empty. The beach was clean and white. However, we were shocked at the actual size of the condo. The pictures make it look twice as big. Especially the second bedroom. And the living room furniture was pretty shabby. Hard floors throughout would be nice. Carpet and beach don't mix. Laundry in the condos should have been a given. Not horrible overall, but could use some work. The view from the balcony was lovely.

Wonderfully relaxing vacation!

Extremely professional and friendly staff! Relaxed family feel to this complex. My family and I had one of our best vacations ever. Great place to stay. We loved being at the end of the strip on the island. Unobstructed views were wonderful.
