Located halfway between Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Puerto Aventuras is a private gated, yacht-lined community and unquestionably the Pearl of the Riviera Maya. It is also rated the safest and the #1 community to live or retire in all of Mexico. This resort community has the only full service marina from Cancun to Belize, two swim with dolphins experiences (one behind Secret Waters) a naval museum, golf and tennis courts, its own ancient Mayan ruin, and several kilometers of powder white sand and turquoise waters. Additional amenities within its gates include shops, restaurants, convenience and grocery stores, a farmers market, spas, gyms, hair salons, a post office, pubs, nightly music and entertainment, water sports, deep-sea fishing plus doctors, dentists, medical clinics and pharmacies. While staying at Secret Waters, you really don't need a car. You can get a taxi from the airport to Puerto Aventuras or you can take the ADO bus from the airport to Playa Del Carmen and a taxi from there to Puerto Aventuras. You can walk to just about anywhere in Puerto from Secret Waters.

Cancun Van provides private ground transportation between the Cancun International Airport to your doorstep in Puerto Aventuras. They will even greet you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. One way is US $65 and round trip is US $130 for up to 3 people.
