The house is situated in a stunningly beautiful, scenic setting within walking distance of the Sletter Hage Lighthouse. The house works very well for three generations on vacation—though it might be a good idea to expand the dining area so that everyone can sit together. We needed seating for 15 people. All three apartments offer a unique view of the bay. The house is very well-equipped with toys and games for all ages. The barn is a great activity area with equipment for many activities. There’s a good spot for a campfire and cooking in a fire barrel with a grate.
Suggestions for improvements:
- better dining area
- clear instructions for the key box. We encountered incorrect instructions in pouring rain and with minimal cell service, so we couldn’t call the contact person! Please don’t make the text only in English—that’s WAY too clever.
- The code for the house’s Wi-Fi network was listed incorrectly. We had to turn it into a guessing game!
The last two issues are easy to fix, but a real hassle to deal with!
