A truly wonderful little house with a unique view....

A truly wonderful little house with a unique view. I could sit on the patio all day just enjoying the view of the sea and the beach from there. We practically had the beach right in front of the house all to ourselves—someone would pass by maybe once an hour. The house is furnished in a classic Scandinavian style, striking a good balance between stylish and cozy. The location is very quiet, and if you want to go out and do something, you can still get to Marielyst or Nykøbing Falster quickly. The three of us as a family really enjoyed our time at the house.

We really enjoyed our vacation. The house is wonderful and tastefully decorated, and the view of the sea is simply breathtaking at any time of day. The beach is beautifully unspoiled and was hardly crowded in mid-June. It almost felt like a private beach. The surrounding area is very beautiful, and there’s plenty to do. We were completely happy and would love to come back 🩵

Hello, Overall, I had a very nice and relaxing vacation—thanks for asking. The house was clean and perfectly adequate for my needs. Mette had sent me a comprehensive file* in advance with practical tips for day trips, restaurants, and sights—that was really nice. However, there’s still room for improvement in some details: The “boat” mentioned in the listing on the website doesn’t exist. I had specifically asked Mette about the boat again when I booked, but she never replied. Since I enjoy boating, I would have brought my own boat otherwise. The electric kettle was extremely encrusted with limescale; I cleaned it out. The windows facing the sea were very dirty—apparently they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Since I’m paying the rental price primarily for the view, I consider this a shortcoming. The two chairs on the terrace are full of rusty nails, some of which are even sticking out a bit. Only one of my towels got damaged (a few threads pulled out), but I can easily imagine that you could quickly get blood poisoning here. * A note about the public staircase to the left of the property should be added here, since the private staircase is quite uncomfortable. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Best regards, Michael
