It is a great property with awesome hosts. It may be a little too far from the hustle and bustle but it really is the kind of atmosphere you would want to relax and re-energize after a tiring day of excursions.

The property is gorgeous. The homeowners are in a basement apartment so if you need help, they are there if needed. The water feature was so relaxing and the fish and frogs fun to watch. The location was perfectly positioned to allow us to visit the falls and Toronto attractions without feeling like the drive was excessive in either direction. We really appreciated having this house as a home base while we explored Canada.

Good evening Jacalyn & yours,
We thank you very much for the beautiful review. It is great when our guests enjoy their surroundings. We wish you health & wealth.
Generally positive, nice place, quiet. Was perfect for a family reunion with family members gathering from Ontario, Nova Scotia and British Columbia. The hosts were absolutely wonderful people. Only issue (and it wasn’t a major concern) was that the only bathroom was an en-suite to one of the bedrooms.
My wife, daughter and three dogs really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was quiet and peaceful with lots of land to explore. The fish pond was a hit with fish, frogs and snakes. Amenities were just a few minutes drive away which was very convenient. The internet was a bit slower than we are use to. The area is beautiful and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Overall a very good experience for us!

It was a pleasure to have you & yours Duane. You left the house spanking clean. You are welcome anytime. So happy that you enjoyed yourselves. Duane have a good one.
Perfect property for an extended family of 6 adults and a dog, for a weekend stay to view the eclipse. Owners are very responsive in their communications. The house is filled with interesting and unusual decorations and collectibles. The twinkling decorative lights outside at night are beautiful.
As others have mentioned, just be aware that the only washroom is ensuite to one of the bedrooms. Not a problem at all for and we knew this in advance. There is limited cell phone coverage (not the owner's fault). Wifi/Internet is fine.
Very much appreciate the owner's accommodating a pet.
Property is located in the country off a back road. Very quiet and private. But still within 5 minutes of a Tim Horton's so you aren't living in the wild LOL. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating to a few changes we asked about along the way (issues on my end, not the property).
Quiet property sitting on farmland. Not too far away from town and wine country but far enough away to hear nothing but nature. Well kept property with all the amenities. A lovely place to stay.

Thank you John, for your wonderful review, we hope that you had a fantastic time, & takes memorable times with you. You are welcome anytime, but I know it is a very long trip & it was difficult for you. We hope that this trip was worth it to you. Have a good one John.
My daughters and I spent two weeks at the property to quarantine. It is a great private property, but still close to wineries which sadly we could not take part in. We were able to have groceries delivered as well as pizza. The lovely pond and waterfall were very much enjoyed!
The perfect place to get away. Very comfortable house on a large, lovely lot. Dog friendly with plenty of space for long walks. A quiet setting with easy access to the entire Niagara region. Claudette and Duddeh are responsive, kind and keep the house well stocked. I highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to get away in an area filled with lots to see and do.

We have a great fish pond, very interesting to watch. Among all vineyards & wonderful restaurants. Close to the serviceful village of Smithville, Ontario. 7 minutes by car. With liquor & beer stores, Tim Hortons, Dentists, churches, large grocery store, dollarstore, gas station, community centre, mechanic garage, restaurant, lawyers, insurance, banks, provincial licenses office, pharmacies, just to name a few. We are located at 1/2 hour to Niagara Falls, & the US border, 40 minutes to Niagara-on-The-Lake. 45 minutes to Toronto. We would be happy to welcome you & yours, & make it a special time for you.
What makes this property unique
We love this location. We feel as if we breathe & look at our surrounding in a different light. It is truly one of a kind property. We feel very privilege to live here. When we come home from work, it feels as we are going on holiday to a peaceful place. Great place for the kids to run around, observe the frogs, turtles, look at birds & rabbits from panoramic windows. Super bike trails in the area, my husband does fundraisers going on bike trails from here to Niagara Falls, or towards Toronto. Lots of bike clubs in the area. We are down the hill to the waterfront, of Beamsville or Grimsby. Also available horseback riding.
