About this property

Quiet holiday home surrounded by old trees

At the end of a private gravel road, surrounded by old trees and a partially natural lot, lies a very quiet vacation home. The sound of birdsong accompanies you from morning to night, and the feeling of being in the middle of a forest is there from the moment you step through the door.

Inside, the layout is well-designed, with three bedrooms in a separate sleeping area and a kitchen open to the living room. A large oak dining table, found at a flea market, provides space for long, leisurely meals with a view of the grounds. There are games for all ages and toys for the little ones.

The terrace is approximately 100 m² with space for play and relaxation. A breakfast terrace has direct access from the kitchen, and a pergola can be covered with a sail in the evening. The outdoor shower, the hammock in the walnut trees, and the sandbox with swings make the garden a place you’ll return to again and again.

The beach is a 12-minute walk away, and Nyrup Beach with its swimming pier is also nearby. Rørvig Harbor offers crab fishing and a restaurant, and the hike from Klint Harbor to the protected Klint Hills is a perfect destination for an outing. Nykøbing Sjælland has fine restaurants and cafés, and the bird sanctuary in Hovvig offers good chances to spot golden eagles.

Anette and Kim, We arrived in the rain and ended yesterday with a lovely summer shower; in between, we’ve had fantastic weather—warm and pleasant. Right now, we’re sitting on a bench looking out at your beautiful garden. There are lots of birds here—we’ve even seen and heard a woodpecker from time to time—and we’ve also had a visit from a deer. You have a fantastic summer house that we’ve really enjoyed—the outdoor shower is great! And we’ve spent time in the various outdoor spaces at different times. The kitchen terrace is perfect for breakfast, afternoon relaxation, or evenings—both at the front and the back. Even though there are other houses fairly close by, the feeling is one of seclusion and tranquility. Inside, we’re greeted by tasteful decor—we love your style. We’ve worked with furniture ourselves and appreciate high-quality materials. We’ve gone swimming, gone for walks, taken little trips around Odsherred, and truly enjoyed our vacation—you get full marks: 12 out of 10 points 👌🏼 We’d love to come back! Karin, Rune, Katarina
