Vegas Sizzle and a Family-Friendly Stay. Wyndham Las Vegas at Grand Desert, located a mile from Las Vegas Boulevard at the famed Strip's center, puts you close to world-famous Vegas thrills, yet far enough away to savor family-friendly fun, too. If you like active vacations, this modern, high-energy resort has a big choice of recreational amenities to make your Las Vegas stay a guaranteed winner.

Resort Fun! With 787 units in three beautiful towers, this resort almost feels like a small town itself. Each unit is comfortably appointed, decorated in elegant Mediterranean style. Of the three pools, two are family use. The Tower II pool has walk-in entry and a kid-friendly water play area. Tower III has its own lagoon pool and spa. The Tower I pool is reserved for adults with an upper deck for lap swimming and more privacy for guests. Our Activities Center is a magnet for kids: DVD's, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, pool tables, Game Boys, Xbox and fun tournaments.

This resort offers two computer centers, massage therapy, tanning rooms and a nonstop program of activities for every taste an energy level. Adults can enjoy activities like yoga and Pilates, plus social's like Monday Night Football and wine and cheese pool parties. Families enjoy events such as Movies & Treat Night, pool games and arts and crafts. Little ones adore balloon animal class, during Parent's Night Out. When you're hungry, MacGregor's Market has café-style breakfasts and lunches, and when you're ready to hit the town a free shuttle takes you to Harrah right on the Strip.You can make a grocery/shopping run on our convenient shuttle.

Beyond the Resort. Enjoy boating, fishing and swimming fun at Lake Mead, the biggest man-made lake in the Western Hemisphere. Tour Hoover Dam and learn the secrets behind this engineering masterpiece. Climb Red Rock Caynon's unique rock formation or head to the Las Vegas Strip, where attractions galore await for all ages.

Everything was wonderful! Gerard was great! The property and room were beautiful! It’s proximity to stores, restaurants, and the strip was a plus. Just watch out for the reps trying to get you into a timeshare presentation. They can be a little pushy!

Great for a 5 day stay

Having two bathrooms along with two separate bedrooms was perfect. The full kitchen enabled us to cook many of our meals and the elevator made bringing up groceries convenient. The off strip location was great for avoiding traffic if the strip, but close enough to still get to the strip quickly. We will be back next year!

Great stay close to the strip!

We had everything we needed at Gerard's stay and it comfortably fit our 8 guests. My only comment is that the two queen beds in one of the bedrooms felt more like two full beds instead, but it still worked for our purposes. The sofa couch pulled out to a full bed as well. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful time in Las Vegas

We had a lovely stay at Gerry’s place at the Wyndham Grand Desert. It was perfect for us to have a place so close to the strip - especially with the free shuttle - yet quiet enough to relax when we wanted to get away from the full on strip. The pools and hot tubs were lovely. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Gerry was responsive to any questions and everything went smoothly from booking to checking in to departure. The staff were really nice and helpful. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location/great amenities..

Location is close to strip with shuttle that takes you to the Horseshoe casino which links with Paris casino. Then you are right on the strip. Nice pool area with hot tub away from main pool. Nice setup in unit with 2 bedrooms. Gerard was very easy to deal with and gave his phone number if any issues.

The location was great! It was only about a 10 minute ride to the strip with all of the construction that is currently happening. The location has a shuttle service that runs about every 30 minutes. The drop off location on the strip is the Paris hotel. There are plenty of activities within walking distance of that location. We did run into a few minor issues at the VRBO like a missing coffee machine and a dishwasher that would not turn on, but the front desk staff was amazing and got things straightened out within an hour of us calling them. We had a fantastic time and would love to book this VRBO again next time we visit.

Best stay in Vegas ever!

Gerard was amazing; so very responsive, incredibly accommodating. The hotel was the cleanest we’ve ever been to in Vegas. Absolutely zero cigarette smoke smell throughout the entire property. That was amazing. We loved how quiet it was, how clean, how comfortable the beds were. We loved having a full kitchen and were able to cook our meals, make our protein shakes, etc! The hotel gym was great as was the easy accessibility to the parking garage and to the elevators. The Oasis Cafe there on site had excellent wraps and drinks. We will 100% be staying here from now on! Thank you so much for everything.

Wonderful stay in Las Vegas

This was a great place for us to stay with two teenagers. It was close enough to the Strip to walk or shuttle, yet quiet when the hubbub got to be too much. Arrangements for the stay were handled well, and the condo was VERY nice. Plenty of room for a family of four. No surprise charges added. Recommend highly.
