Casa Alfio was born from a vision set against the backdrop of hills, the sea, and an old ruin. This is what the place looked like… a barn on the ground floor, an unstable attic, a rickety old staircase, and overgrown grass all around.
And now here it is, in all its splendour after years of hard work to restore it. Two beautiful apartments: a two-room apartment that can accommodate 4 people and a studio apartment that can accommodate 2. The pool, over 50 square metres in size, features a solar-heated shower that provides both hot and cold water, a spacious garden, a children’s play area, and the ever-present barbecue area. There are outdoor dining areas, a sun deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the sun, and a hammock for relaxing. The interiors are spacious and fully furnished, and the two-room apartment includes a washer-dryer. For guests staying in the studio apartment, a laundry service is available for a fee; simply make a reservation, and your laundry will be picked up and returned clean. The units are cooled and heated via air conditioners, and the kitchen features an induction cooktop and is fully equipped with all necessary appliances. Thermal insulation, triple-pane windows fitted with mosquito screens and insulation, ensure maximum comfort. The home is eco-friendly, gas-free, and powered exclusively by renewable energy sources. There are smart TVs in every room, Wi-Fi, and board games. The spacious courtyard in front of the property is accessible through an automated gate, providing secure parking for four cars. The pavement around the house features a ramp to facilitate ground-floor access for guests with disabilities. Outside, there are also two beautiful stone and brick sinks with hot and cold water, suitable for a variety of needs.
Looking out towards the hills, you can witness beautiful sunsets as the sun peeks out and outlines the skyline of the central Apennine range, bathed in soft shades of pink and orange.

The nights are peaceful and quiet, and time seems to stand still: looking up, you can admire the stars, while glancing at the hedge, you might spot fireflies.
Waking up is gentle, with the radiant dawn and sunlight rising from the sea, gracefully filtering through the trees and then into the windows of the house, accompanied by the crowing of country cockerels.
The area is surrounded by greenery yet close to the town centre. Just a few minutes’ drive takes you to the sea or the hills.
The nearest inland town is Monteprandone, one of the region’s most beautiful villages and the birthplace of San Giacomo della Marca. Along the road lies the shrine dedicated to the patron saint of children, a must-see for anyone with children or travelling with little ones.
The nearest coastal town is San Benedetto del Tronto, the city with Italy’s most beautiful boardwalk, which defines the famous Riviera delle Palme. A visit to the pier, the maritime museum, and the old town of Paese Alto—where one of the peninsula’s most famous martyrs is buried—is a must. Don’t miss the fishing tours and a taste of the famous brodetto.
