What a beautiful spot! We enjoyed the ocean views from both the outdoor seating area as well as from the all-glass enclosed terrace. The home has a full kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook if you want. Hugo was a very attentive host and helpful when any questions come up. We were very comfortable and had plenty of space to relax and even do laundry. We also loved the location. It is located in Serrata on the west side of the island, so it is not near the main city, which we enjoyed. It is very quiet (cows will be your periodic neighbors) and is a short drive to several well marked gorgeous hiking trails and to Biscoitos for a dip in the ocean pools. And there is certainly no lack of vistas as you explore the coastal route. Be advised that we often found throughout our travels in Portugal and on Terceira Island that there are a lot of old pipes and old municipal sewer systems. You will often find signs in the bathrooms advising you to not flush any toilet paper and there is commonly a trash can next to the toilet. This was the case countless places we went and is the case with this property. However, this house has both a toilet and a bidet, which many places do not. Enjoy the amazing solitude at and views from this home!
