For your convenience there is Tesla charger and with our newest feature a Hot/Cold Keurig Machine. Our home also has a Pool Barrier Fence to keep all your loved ones safe. We are pet friendly.... Your pet must be preapproved prior to booking your reservation.

Our lovely home has a marvelous great room which opens to the dining area, kitchen and breakfast bar. With glass sliders opening into our paradise screen covered patio and a salt water pool. The yard is magnificently landscaped with beautiful foliage specifically to attract the Royal Monarch Butterflies. (Sleeps 6)

Renters acknowledge that property is furnished for adults and has Not Been Child Proofed. With an in ground swimming pool being on the premises--our biggest, first and foremost concern would be safety. Traveling with children and interested in booking our guest home--additional information will be required before locking in your reservation. Renters agree to take full responsibility for themselves and their guests while staying at the property and will hold owners harmless for any damages to personal property or any personal injuries while at the property.

The home is supplied with bed linens, bath and pool towels, plenty of cooking accessories, a full size clothes washer and dryer--iron and ironing board. As well as beach chairs, lounges and beach umbrella.

Stocked with hand soap, dish soap, Napkins, paper towels and toilet paper to get you started for your visit. Plus if you love to cook.... there are plenty of cooking spices.

Our guest house has WiFi, High definition cable TV and Roku. Plus our previous guests have streamed in a movie using their Amazon Prime Account on the Smart TV in the living room. If you stream during your visit please make sure to log out of your account.

Pool too cold for you...we can change that in a flip of a switch--service fee will apply.

For safety reasons and to prevent any damages:
Guests are kindly requested "NOT" to move the fence around the pool and/or any furniture in the house. An additional fee will be charged if this occurs.

If you are not familiar with using the Kitchen garbage disposal, please refrain from using it--or inquire on how to use it. If it is broken during your stay, you will be required to pay for a new one to be installed.

Need extra time for paying off your reservation--simply reach out to us and we'll make it happen.

Anybody booking 28 days, will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Guests supplied with guidelines/check out list. Start dish washer-dirty dishes, drain board & other sink accessories. Clean coffee pot, blender & Keurig coffee maker. Start average load of towels.

Items to be placed in Garage. Used sheets, pillow cases, blankets placed hampers. Bath, hand towels, face cloths, bathmats, vanity rugs, shower curtain liner, kitchen towels pool towels,table cloths.

Close & lock all windows & doors-close blinds. Shut off ceiling fans, lights & turn a/c to 78. Sign out of your streaming accounts, double lock the front door & please leave the garage door opener.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

As per VillageofTequesta “it is unlawful to allow for a sex offender/sexual predator to occupy this residence when located within applicable zones”.

Not permitted to rearrange "any furniture". Renters acknowledge property is furnished for adults and is not childproofed. No loud music after 11pm.

All Guests receive House Rule-: Rental Agreement. All guests are asked to report any plumbing, electrical , pool landscaping issues if they arise.

We do want to provide some context regarding the checkout guidelines. This is a full-home rental, not a hotel room, and your party consisted of three adults. The checkout requests are intended to be reasonable, basic courtesies that most people would follow when staying in someone else’s home—such as cleaning up after cooking and making a reasonable effort to leave the home tidy for the next guests. We have been renting our home for over eight years and take great pride in keeping it clean and comfortable. We have never had a complaint that our checkout expectations were excessive. In fact, we intentionally keep them limited to the things that help our cleaning team prepare the home for the next guests within a limited turnaround time. We also chose not to leave a negative review after your stay because we did not want to create an issue. There were cleaning matters following your departure, including food crumbs throughout the home and a cooking mess that was not cleaned up. We understand that families with young children can have additional messes, but guests are still responsible for reasonable cleanup when renting an entire home. We appreciate that you enjoyed the property and its location, and we wish you and your family well.

The host was wonderful. I appreciated her communication because it helped me feel comfortable with the rental process and expectations. The rental was spotless and well organized. Not cluttered. We had everything we needed for our stay. She had beautiful landscaping that attracted beautiful butterflies. Because of the location, she had to meet very high standards to be approved for the home to be used for vacation rentals. The house has a nice lanai and pool. The beach is not far away. I would recommend this rental to anyone who is looking to vacation in or around Tequesta, Florida.

Excellent location. Beautiful exterior. The pool was nice but the gnats in it were a bit much. We tried skimming but it really didn’t help. The pictures are accurate, the inside of the property needs a bit of updating. Childproof gate around the pool was a huge plus since we had a 3 year old with us. All in all it was a nice stay

During the heavy rainy season, the local environment experiences a massive surge in moisture, which naturally causes tiny gnats and midges to hatch and swarm in the surrounding air.Even though the pool area is fully screened, these seasonal bugs are so incredibly microscopic that they can unfortunately pass right through standard pool mesh, or they get pushed inside by the wind and rain. Once they land on the water, they stick to the surface tension, making them very difficult to completely clear out with a manual skimmer alone. We are actively working on extra water treatments to help break that surface tension so the pool system can clear them out much faster for future guests.We also appreciate your notes regarding the interior updates. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we are already using it to prioritize our next round of property refreshes. We completely agree, and we truly apologize for missing that opportunity. A quick phone call would have allowed our team to try rectify this dilemma making your stay much more comfortable.

We loved our stay here. It was exactly as described, a true paradise! Very clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped with everything we needed including being dog friendly, they loved running around outback. There was a checkout reminder list which was a great help when leaving. The home was close to everything we wanted to do.

We loved staying at Tequesta Shangri-La. The house is gorgeous with a beautiful yard full of flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies. The pool is nice to soak in on the warm 80 degree January days. Tequesta Shangri-La

We love to stay in Tequesta when visiting family in the area and it would be hard to find a better spot than this one. Super clean, the best equipped kitchen, great enclosed pool with a tropical landscaping. Plus Carolyn the owner is fantastic.

Lovely interlude in Tequesta

Great getaway !

Very clean and well stocked. The pool was just what we needed. We enjoyed the privacy of the enclosed pool and the colored night lights were beautiful! Would go there again.
