Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Wash all dishes and replace in cabinets. Return heat to 55 degrees if used. Shut AC off. Shut off any room heaters or fans.

Secure trash in trash bags in steel box by back door. Clean recycling, sorted in barrels on porch. close and lock windows.

If you brought a dog, please be sure poop is picked up in secure bags in trash bag, not bottom of trash bucket.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Dogs are not to be left alone for long periods of time. Must be on leash when on property. Not allowed on furniture, one dog only, no cats or birds.

The one thing I will say about this property is the inside of the cabin was super clean. The beds were comfortable, but the location of the cabin is not very good. You have giant brick steps that you have to walk up to bring your goods into the cabin there is pine trees. That there is rotted branches that have fallen down, and the pictures of the lake are very deceiving because I thought those late pictures were in the back of the yard. You can walk out to the lake, but there’s nothing there besides a small dock, which had two boats tied too.If only this cabin had a much better piece of land around it, I would’ve given it a much better rating again the cabin inside itself was really really good and clean

The pictures and information on VRBO site are accurate. We have listed it on VRBO at a reasonable rental rate to share with guests to spend time in home like surroundings while visiting the sights of the White Mountains. As stated on the site, there is no lake access from the cottage, so I am not sure whose dock you were on. The town beach is a short walk or drive , with parking nearby. We are sorry Overlook did not meet your expectations.

We had a lovely stay here for our anniversary weekend! The cottage was so cozy and we especially loved having a fire in the fireplace each evening. The owner was very responsive and kind to us. We’d love to come back some time!

Overlook was perfect for our quick getaway! Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, and a great little swimming beach down the road for cooling off at the end of the day! Close to everything, yet in a quiet location.

Great Cabin Best time

Peaceful getaway

This was a cozy little cabin in the woods with the pleasure of some sunshine by the water. Yet still close enough to shopping, good food and attractions too! Clean and accommodating. Donna and Steve are so kind and responsive! Hope to come back again!

Old time Lake vacation

Overlook was an experience like a step back in time. The spotless, well cared for property evoked a 1940's cabin with stone fireplace and knotty pine interior. Very welcoming hosts, Donna and Steve.

Property was nice went to north conway to fish conway lake only complaint was grill was dirty and couldnt find a brush to clean drive way was very tight dor a boat trailer

Cozy Cabin

We came up to NH from RI for Thanksgiving with our small family. It was great to get away and just chill by the fire. We got some nice snow and it was magical being in that setting during the storm. The cabin stayed cozy and warm the whole time. It was just what we needed. The cabin had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice escape.

5 day get-away

We really enjoyed our stay at the overlook. Hiking on the sunny days and staying in and playing board games on the rainy ones, the weather was a non factor on our enjoyment. The cabin was just the right size, very cozy and well supplied. We were more than thrilled to be able to bring our dog along with us for this adventure. Will definitely be looking to book again in the future.

Cabin stay

The cabin was great for my children, husband, and I. It exceeded my expectations and Had everything we needed and was close enough to everything in town and other places. It was super quiet and inviting. We didn’t spend time at the lake at all, but the atmosphere was very relaxing as far as the little yard area out back of the cabin. Donna was really responsive as well and made everything easy. I will definitely stay here again with my family.

My husband and I are fortunate enough to spend summers with our 2 daughters and their families on Conway Lake enjoying 4 seasons of outside activities in the White Mountains.
It is great to be able to share Overlook with others. Stargazing, listening to sounds of the frogs and loons, mountain biking and hiking, to fishing or kayaking on the lake. In winter, skiing ,coasting or skating on the lake then snuggle inside by a warm wood fire.

Why they chose this property

This cottage is located in a quiet community on Conway Lake, a 10-15 minute drive to North Conway. It is clean, cozy and comfortable for a small family or 4 adults. Although it does not have all of the amenities that a hotel has it is clean, comfortable and affordable.
