We so enjoyed hosting you and your family and answering your questions about the house history. Yes we still have the phone lines and the original pencil sharpener of the bookie who lived here and sold the Tiffany chandelier to pay his debts. We wish we still had that Chandelier!!
We had a wonderful stay in Lakewood! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything felt welcoming from the moment we walked in.The location was a huge highlight. Being in walking distance to great restaurants and gyms made our family visit so easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood felt safe, lively, and full of charm. The host was responsive and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Truly one of those stays where you wish you could add an extra day… or three.Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lakewood!

So wonderful to host you and I love the pictures you shared here- especially in the Victorian, courting bench. We love it when our guest send us pictures of their loved ones, children, and grandchildren sitting in the bench. Thankyou for all of the compliments it means so much to our team. Come back in spring and really walk the neighborhood. The gardens, Lake Erie, and see the local architecture. Most everything was built between 1900 to 1920.
Everyone loved it here. It was nice having your own room. It’s only about 15-20 drive, to get to everything we wanted to do. The property manager and owner were very sweet and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Thankyou for the compliments. We hope to see you again. Yes, we are so close to everything including the beaches of Lake Erie.
Wonderful, quirky Victorian home. Yes, it may be squeaky, but that's part of the charm! Stacked kitchen, charming grounds and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bars.

Loved having your family stay for such a memorable touching time in your life. Honored to be your host. Thankyou for the photos.
The house has a welcoming character. The front porch is magical. Lots of stairs like an old house does, good and creaky. We had a plumbing issue but Susan acted quickly. She is a great host.

It was fun to host you and your friends. Thankyou for alerting us right away about the toilet - we are so glad our amazing plumber could get there so quickly. He really knows the house and really cares. We are lucky to have him on our team.
Super Holiday, Susan was available if needed and the house will hold lifelong memories of the Eclipse and Cleveland. Thank you so much, all the family had a great experience.
We loved our stay here! My family came to visit Lakewood and Cleveland and this was a great location. The home was charming and as advertised, plenty of space for my husband, two kids and my parents to all stay comfortably. Beautiful home and wonderful neighborhood!
We came to take our children to Cedar Point n visit friends. Perfect place to stay! Host is wonderful!

Loved having you there!! We hope to see you again soon in our Victorian Duplex and perhaps you will bring more family and rent all 10 bedrooms. Each half is completely separate but fun to share with the rest of your family and friends.
We loved staying in this very large house with lots of character, many amenities and a great location in a beautiful neighbourhood west of Cleveland. Our host was very responsive, friendly and helpful with many tips for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely go back.
The house served all of our needs as we were in town to visit family. The house was easy to find and access and all the supplies were available to us to make it our home away from home. The host communicated very well on our visit to ensure we had all the details we needed.
There's something unique and magnificent about Victorian houses, We are huge fans of the style, hence choosing this place for our trip. However, this home is one of the best maintained Victorians we've ever stayed in. Other perks, The location is superb. The woodwork is beyond gorgeous. The AC worked well and beat the heat. The king bed was comfortable. I loved the curved Victorian courting bench, and my husband serenaded me with the Wurlitzer piano. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

We hope to have you come back again. We are constantly finding ways to keep this painted lady authentic yet with modern comforts.
The host was great The property is in a good neighborhood walking distance to many shops and restaurants The house has character not the typical Ikea filled house.
We had a delightful time. The house was clean and tidy. We couldn’t find a hairdryer but it didn’t slow us down.

So happy you had a great time. Our housekeeper was thrilled when you told her how much you appreciated how clean the house is. You made her week. Please always text us if you can't find something like the hair dryer. We have two of them. Thankyou for the fun note you left in our guest book too. Delighted that you enjoyed Cleveland's Little Italy. Come back and visit any time at the Prominent Victorian in Lakewood.
We absolutely enjoyed our visit. The house was full of gorgeous woodwork, antiques and a beautiful yard that romantically lit up at night. The beds were super comfortable and Susan was a great hostess! You can't beat the location which is close to everything you would need. The house was very clean and cozy! We look forward to another visit!
Thank you so much for staying. We want you to know that we’re always busy restoring and upgrading every area of this 124-year-old Victorian and you stay helps us keep going. We are busy painting the exterior before winter hits.
We hope to see you return and maybe next time you will try our century old Castle on 3/4 acre just a few miles south of our Victorian.
We had a sewer backup our first morning, but our host addressed the problem right away, and Angie cleaned thoroughly and took good care of us. We had room for our extended family to be comfortable and the location was perfect. Susan checked in with us frequently to make sure we were comfortable.
Susan is a wonderful hostess! We love the house and the location is fabulous! So close to everything. Susan recommended seeing the sunset from the solstice steps at Lakewood Park and it did not disappoint! If coming to Cleveland again I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful house with us!
Our lovely niece/cousin had a bridal shower nearby, and us out of towners (4 adults an 1 child) had a short, but sweet stay in this charming house. There was plenty of room and very homey and comfortable. Susan was very easy to contact. We’re hoping to possibly stay again for next summer’s wedding!

So happy you had a great time. That's what we want!! Also if you need an expert seamstress for wedding dresses and other dresses- we have one. Just reach out.
We were in Cleveland for the Billy Joel concert. We picked this house because of the charm it had and the number of bathrooms and bedrooms. We basically lived on that front porch - so cozy with a lovely ge the breeze
The only negative to the stay was that the 2nd bathroom was in the basement. A bit far from the besrooms

Thanks for sharing so often how much you liked the front porch. The main bathroom is next to the main 3 bedrooms. The second full bath is next to the laundry room and more convenient from the sandstone side door patio when outside or the first floor kitchen. Victorian homes were built during a time when bathrooms were not placed by the living room or visiting parlor. Our Victorian beauty is 124 years young & charming with lots of unique architecture and high ceilings and crown moulding which we hope makes up for walking a few extra steps to the second bathroom. Our other unit on the property does have a half bath on the first fl
so if this is critical for a future guest pls request this unit. The side benefit of this second bathroom is that it has a walk in shower instead of a cast iron claw foot tub. So glad you stayed & enjoyed more than just the concert.
Our family booked this place to stay for a few days for our grandpa’s 100th birthday. The place is as Victorian as it can be and offers a lot of character and authentic appeal. The neighborhood is quiet and quite accessible to a lot of stores and restaurants. Susan, the property owner is so nice and responsive. The place is clean and stocked up. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates a different home-y ambience. We will definitely hope to come back again.
