The Space
The Sunset Cabin was designed and furnished to make your vacation here in southern Utah relaxing and convenient. The 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms means everyone has their private space and the open concept living, dining and kitchen provides the perfect space to cook, entertain and enjoy time with each other.

Guest access
You will enjoy complete access to the Cabin and acres of wide open space. Sit on the porch with your favorite beverage or snack and splendor in the amazing sunsets for which the Cabin is so named. Your view will be framed by the Vermillion Cliffs of the Grand Escalante Staircase National Monument to the north and the Chocolate Cliffs to the south. Once the sun falls behind the cliffs to the west, you will be treated to a 360 degree sky full of stars and the entire Milky Way.

Neighborhood overview
Palomar Estates is a few minutes east of Kanab in wide open space south of the Vermillion Cliffs and north of the Chocolate Cliffs.

Getting around
Here, a car is required to access the many parks, sites and destinations that we have here in southern Utah. A high-clearance 4WD vehicle is recommended for off-road adventures to remote places in the Kaibab National Forest, Vermilion Cliffs or other wilderness areas.

The cabin was perfect. Very clean and not to far from town. Communication with the owners was easy they always replied in a reasonable time. At night you could see so many beautiful stars. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Recommend to anyone who wants to be away from the city.

What a peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and magnificent stay this past weekend. The location is ideal and you can truly call this your home for the amount of time you stay there. Perfection all around. And those views.....oh my!

We stayed at this property with 2 adults and a 4 year old and was perfect for our family. The beds and couches were incredibly comfortable which is always the most hit and miss topic with VRBOs Ive experienced in the past. The location was fantastic. It felt private but was still only minutes from Kanab. If I come back to the area I will absolutely look to stay here again!

We had a great stay. Kanab is an awesome town and Big Al's has the best burgers. If you drive thru Kanab on 89 and about 10 miles out of town is Thunderbird cafe with the best apple pie anywhere. The only issue we. Really had with the cabin was the blinds in the living room did absolutely nothing to block the sun in the evenings which made it tough to sit in the living room and watch tv

Fantastic experience. Had everything we needed and all is just as advertised. Though I would argue that the sunsets should be hyped a bit more because they were spectacular. Perfectly between Bryce and Zion with plenty of nearby adventures.

This is the perfect cabin to stay in if you are visiting southern Utah. We had a wonderful week staying in the cabin! It is very clean, organized, and has everything you would need. It is in the perfect location as you can visit many sites in a short drive. Kanab has lots of great restaurants. We would definitely come back!

Great place in Kanab!

This home is perfect for 2 couples or a smaller family (2-3 kids that can room share). The home was super clean and very friendly for a dog. The outdoor space is lovely and the home was quiet and clean. We loved it and will stay here again.

Wonderful Stay at The Sunset Cabin!

We just finished our week-long stay at the cabin. It was very comfortable and had everything needed to use it as a base for our daily explorations of the area. The cabin is very private and we loved sitting on the rocking chairs outside. So peaceful!

Great property near Kanab

Wonderful!!

Perfect cabin in a very welcoming and comfortable town! We were close to everything we wanted to do and see and it was so nice to come back to a cozy comfortable cabin. It was nice and remote but close enough to town if you needed something. Has all the amenities you need!

Wonderful cabin

Everything was perfect. Great location just out of town. Cabin had everything you could ever need. I would recommend for anyone wanting privacy, but not so far from restaurants and shopping.
