About this property

Escape the summer heat at 8300 feet! 30 day minimum.

This secluded property consists of a 3000 square foot main house (VRBO #1257528) and a newly built 550 square foot guest house (VRBO #1258276), both with absolutely stunning views of the San Juan Mountains. It is perched on 5 acres about 8300 feet above sea level on Flatiron Mesa at the foot of Pagosa Peak. It is surrounded by the San Juan National Forest down the road from trailheads to the Weminuche Wilderness. The two units can be rented separately or together.

A few miles outside of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, it offers ready access to outdoor recreation including Nordic and alpine skiing, hiking, fishing, big game hunting, snowmobiling and off-road vehicles, and horseback riding.

The place was perfect for my family of four. Cozy and just what we need for a short snowboard trip!

Easy to find. Had some minor issues with the lighting in the place and received no reply from the property manager about addressing it. Checking in was easy as the door code was sent well in advance. No check out instructions were provided.

Breathtaking Mountain View’s

This cute studio apartment offers breathtaking mountain views in a more secluded area outside Pagosa Springs. The apartment sits next to a much larger rental property, so you may have to share the driveway. My only suggestion for improving this adorable little rental would be to add the ability to block out others from seeing into the large front windows. The views are magnificent. However, anyone renting the main house can look directly into the studio kitchen window. We will definitely choose this location again!!

Nice studio above a garage. Wonderful views of the mountains from the windows. Looked like it was fairly new and was clean. About 15 minuets from Pagosa Springs but the drive is beautiful. The owner was very nice and attentive to our needs. Would definitely book again.
