El Tuito is a small hidden quaint mexican town located 30 miles south of Puerto Vallarta in the Sierra Madre mountains Founded int he 16th Century, El Tuito has 3,000 inhabatants.

This small hiddent town is a clean little village for those that want to relax and put their stress on hold away from the hustle and busle of Puerto Vallarta.

The main square (La Plaza) is in the traditon of a mexican colonial town.
Just off the square are some very resonable priced resturants and coffee shops. Just enjoy sitting at an outside table and watch the locals living and working surrounded by traditional archecture.

El Tuito is an excellant location to embark on day trips to the most remote and prestine beaches in the world. A must is to visit the beach towns of Myto, Villa Del Mar, and Tehuamixtle

Take a short drive and visit the Botonical Gardens, sugar cane factory, Racilla facory and a coffee farm. Embark on a day trip to Puerto Vallarta and come home to relax in the tranquil setting of your home away from home.

A fabulous experience in rural Mexico

VRBO description inaccurate-no TV, street # was incorrect, and when I asked the host he said no laundry facilities. However, later he said it was ok and gave us the key to the laundry area. Secure parking. Once we settled in, we enjoyed our 9 day stay. Basic, small 1 bedroom apartment; fabulous views from the balcony-great sunrises and sun sets. 10 min walk to town centre. Great get away , friendly locals, very safe. A few restaurants in town and street food.

Loved it so much

Such a beautiful area...Tuito is just up the mountains from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta. It is a cooler and not as humid as PV, which makes a huge difference for my health. It is quiter and so beautiful. The unit I ended up with has everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Looking forward to be back.

Fabulous, great views, very comfortable

I stayed in #5 for 3 months. Hated to leave. Views are incompareable... especially enjoyed the sunrises from my bedroom window. Worth setting my alarm to see them!

I choose this property because of the hill top location with a 5 minte walk to town. I have totally created brand new living areas for our guests to enjoy a reeal Authenic Mexican experience.
I have been in the tourist business all my life and love to share a location that is so unique and different with our travelers.
