Clark was an amazing host great guy also help us unload everything from the car. The place is what you expect out of a historic mansion, overall the place was very comfortable.

1841 Mansion

Comfortable 180+ year old mansion adorned with lovely antiques, in a peaceful 5-acre setting. Excellent host, who even welcomed us with chocolate chip cookies and provided a continental breakfast each morning.

Clark and his wife are incredibly hospitable and the B&B was lovely. We had a pleasant two night stay and were even treated to fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when we arrived back to our room last night! We were in town for the Travelers PGA golf tournament, which was mere minutes from Higganum. Overall, we recommend this location and would stay again.

Charming 19th century house in woodland setting.

Owner was easy to contact and communicate with. Very friendly and was there to greet us and show us the house upon our arrival. Lots of old family pictures on the walls that were great fun to look at. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds.

Wonderful place, lots of local charm

Great place for a getaway! Charming, clean as a white, excellent host. He had fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we got back from the baby shower we came up to attend. Comfy beds, quilts, and cozy atmosphere. Great place to stay for a getaway!
