A beautiful oasis in Burlington.

Perfect location, very quiet neighbourhood, & close enough to downtown. The salt water backyard pool and verdant surroundings were the highlight of our stay. Cyndi is a gracious, caring host who has thought of everything in the accommodation to make our stay memorable. We would return in a heartbeat!

Our stay at High Road, Burlington Ontario

We loved this well-appointed apartment in a quiet residential area, close to restaurants and lovely parks. Our host was welcoming and thoughtful, making the apartment feel like home, with fresh fruit, flowers and snacks! There were even toiletries and other convenient items that you might have forgotten to pack. It really did feel like home away from home.Be sure to visit Marilu's Market, just minutes away, for delicious take-away meals and coffee!

Quiet comfort with special touches

This spacious and beautifully appointed basement apartment is perfect as a quiet base when visiting the Burlington area. I was working rather than vacationing, so I appreciated the small office area and kitchenette. The electric BBQ made for a nice grilled chicken as a special treat!

Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights as a vacation (we're from the US) and as a way to start researching Ontario as a possible retirement location for us in the next few years. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great and the hospitality was even better! Cyndi is very friendly and gracious and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and happy with your stay. We will likely be coming back to this area and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Cyndi!

The Host is great - really appreciated the accommodation for early arrival this time, as well as the fresh croissants and jam waiting for us. Unit is well appointed with some appreciated extras too. A perfect stay with an amazing host

My whole experience was outstanding, starting with Cyndi who is an incredible host, with a beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment that had everything I needed and more. I stayed for about 2 weeks as I had work commitments as well as friends/family time, and I felt comfortable and 'at home away from home' from the first day. Cyndi takes great pride in her place, has a beautiful and welcoming back yard/pool, and it's clear she loves to host and create a welcoming comfortable place for her guests. I will be back in the fall and winter for work and will definitely rebook with Cyndi. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Phenomenal Property and Host! Hospitality was Wonderful!

Everything was perfect! Cyndi was a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make everything perfect! The property was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Cyndi is a great host! She left us breakfast and movie snacks. The pool area was awesome and very clean. Burlington was a very beautiful city. The neighborhood was super nice. I felt extremely safe in the city and neighborhood. I would highly recommend checking out Saving Thyme and Jackson's Landing. We spent some additional time exploring Devil's Punch Bowl and the nearby local store that offered pies/fresh produce. I would absolutely recommend Cyndi's property to everyone.

Highly Recommend

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the High Road, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived Cyndi went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodation made our stay truly memorable. The smallest details had been addressed (every possible bath and beauty product was available to enjoy, chocolates on our pillows, and a comfortable environment where we could come home to sit back and relax!). The Vrbo's prime location provided easy access not only to Burlington but also made our exploration of Toronto (including our daughter's visit to the University of Toronto) and drive to Hamilton for an anniversary party amazingly convenient. The exceptional service and luxurious accommodation will have us returning to the High Road again this summer. Thanks, Cyndi!

Perfect

My husband and I stayed for two weeks in February 2019 at Cyndi’s retreat while we waited for our new condo to be finished. All of these reviews are exactly right. Everything was perfect and exactly as described. We have stayed at VRBO locations in several countries over many years and Cyndi’s is one of the best. She does spoil you. There was yoghurt, fruit, fresh almond scones and granola for our first breakfast. On a particular cold day she brought us home-made soup with rolls. She was generous with supplies and made sure that the walks were shovelled and salt laid down every day. The fireplace was very warm and inviting on the cold winter nights. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to use the pool. It is situated in a quiet spot at the back of the property and looked very inviting even in the snow. Good location with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Thanks Cyndi.
