Cottage on Opal Coast, set in an 18th century property of character, opened on the countryside, with pond, near a forest, in the heart of the village of Widehem.
Cottage with 20 m2 south facing terrace, private garden, as well as private parking and access.
Rental Opal Coast property for 3 people, on 2 widely illuminated levels. Very neat decoration, colors chosen for a soft and naturally relaxing atmosphere.

The gite was superb. Annoyingly there was a Hot Tub on the listing. That was exactly what we searched for and a specific requirement. Our host was clearly and honestly shocked thst the listing featured such a claim - he had never made such a claim, or ever had a Hot Tub. The Vrbo customer service help line ws useless and the automated service worse than that. So, book here, but go direct to Jean Pierre's website.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons séjourné au gîte du Bois Roger avec l'objectif de nous retrouver en amoureux et de nous reposer après le tumulte de notre mariage quelques jours avant. Rien de mieux que ce gîte en pleine campagne, calme, joli, spacieux. Ce lieux vous invite à la décontraction, au repos et l'on s'y ressource pleinement. Les oiseaux vous tiennent compagnie pendant vos repas sur la terrasse, face à une vue superbe : verdure, nature, vaches qui viennent vous dire bonjour le matin, en toute discrétion. Il y a un petit étang avec des poissons rouges, les oiseaux y font du sud sur leur petites pâtes, c'est rigolo, vous pouvez les observer en sirotant votre apéro! Il y a des commerces dans la petite ville à côté à 5min en voiture. Il y a des circuits de randonnées sympas à faire à proximité, et Hardelot très proche en voiture pour la plage et les bon restos les jours où vous souhaitez reconnecter avec le monde. Et enfin, Jean-Pierre vous accueille avec beaucoup de sincérité et de gentillesse dans cet ancien corps de ferme ré aménagé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût ! Un très bon souvenir. Nous pensons y retourner avec nos enfants.

Kleines Paradies der Ruhe

Wir haben uns für den Jahreswechsel einen ruhigen Ort gesucht. Fern ab vom Feuerwerk in Deutschland haben wir die Ruhe genossen. Nach ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto kann man die herrlichen Strände der Opalküste genießen.

Séjour calme et très agréable

En pleine campagne mais tout près des plages, location très calme et très agréable avec superbe vue sans vis à vis sur les prairies environnantes. Location très fonctionnelle, bien équipée et décorée avec gout. Propriétaire très attentif et très agréable. Je recommande vivement.

quiet, peaceful & beautiful

Well furnished farmhouse surrounded by nature! Cows are hanging out right next to the garden, the view from the terrace is beautiful! Monsieur Fayol was very nice and gave us some good infomations. Beach & Boulangerie less than 10 min by car!

magnifique propriété bien entretenue

Rien a dire tout était bien seul bémol la cafetière électrique mériterait d'etre changée {temps beaucoup trop long pour passer 2 tasses de café}. Monsieur Fayol est tres discret et disponible si besoin.

Magnifique propriété

Magnifique propriété au calme, jardin, terrasse... La maison est très agréable, lumineuse, propre, décorée avec un goût certain. On s'y sent très bien. Propriétaire très sympatique et accueillant, aux petits soins. En conclusion: très recommandable.

Das schöne Landleben

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Ort für Reisende die die Ruhe suchen, ein Ort für Großstadtgeplagte. Monsieur Fayol ist ein sehr sympathischer, angenehmer, vollkommen unaufdringlicher Gastgeber. Das kleine Haus auf seinem Anwesen ist geschmackvoll und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Von hier aus kann man leicht einige Strände erreichen oder man verbringt einfach mal eine entspannte Zeit auf der eigenen Terrasse. Auch unser Hund hat es sehr genossen, er konnte sich auf dem ganzen Grundstück frei bewegen. Vielen Dank und vielleicht bis bald!

Sehr schön gelegen, der Duft von Bärlauch und die Rinder als Nachbarn tun ihr Übriges. Ausstattung gut. Aber ohne Auto ist man aufgeschmissen.

Peaceful gîte with beautiful scenery

We had a great time at this place. It's a well equiped gîte in a beautiful rural scenery. The owner is very friendly and made us feel at home. We were even allowed to pick fresh rhubarb from his garden to cook, delicious. Owner arranged a baby bed and high chair for our 1 year old son. Minor detail, if you're with three of four persons, you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, but that was no problem for us. All in all, great peaceful spot from where to explore the area and to relax!
