I just had trouble with the heat. Arrived, opened the front door and it felt like a sauna. Maybe host could open a few windows before our arrival. Would have preferred to not have to go to the transfer station (dump). Loved the outside area by the pool. Very well stocked in all areas.

This was probably the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was an excellent location in a very quiet area. We totally enjoyed the pool and the outside patio and yard areas. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating… very nice folks for sure. This home was great just for two but would also be excellent for a large family.

Fantastic family getaway!

Our family absolutely enjoyed this house and the location. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our 7 day stay. The pool and lanai were the highlights and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely be back!

We had a very nice experience with this property. We look for privacy in our vacation homes and this property met that expectation. Lots of amenities in the modern kitchen, it was well appointed.No air conditioning in this home but once the fans get going and windows are open it was quite comfortable.3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an outdoor shower for pool use. Water pressure varied and we found the best experience was to use the outdoor shower. Wished the water pressure was better but it was fine most of the time.Overall a pleasant experience and we were happy to stay here. Cats (see below) endeared us to this place along with the property caretakers who live in the area.Two outside cats have also adopted this home as their own and it was a pleasant surprise to have them around (The orange cat who is the friendliest of the two--- we named her Orangina--that was before we met the property caretakers (amazing people) and were advised that she is a he called Cheeto. Regardless they are well taken of and we fed them well---you will want to do the same :)Thanks for everythingDavid and Michael

Terrific. place

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The home is beautifully decorated and accommodating. The pool is a real plus as well. We come to the big island from time to time and, if possible, we'll stay here in the future.

Relaxing getaway

This place was soo clean & organized. It had EVERYTHING down to pots, pans, spices condiments. Super luxury kids had a blast the pool was beautiful and we loved the outdoor lanai which we spent most of our time. Thank u for letting us enjoy our stay here will definitely be back for sure gonna make this a yearly trip.

Hawaiian Paradise

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it so much we came back for 6 weeks this year. A fantastic place to call home for however long you get to stay. Hope to return again🌴

Awesome house for familytime pool and exploring..

Well stocked home. Peaceful property with close proximity to town and Ocean. Comfortable beds and relativity clean. Great pool and bbq area.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at this well appointed home. It had everything we needed for our Hawaiian getaway. The pool was huge and warm. We had BBQ’s almost every night. Highly recommend!

Kea’au Stay

The house was a bit out of the way but worth it. A beautiful, clean home with a nice salt water pool! It had all we needed to make meals. The beds were comfy too. Highly recommended.

Perfect Paradise

The hosts did an excellent job communicating and making sure their home had everything you need to enjoy your stay (ok coffee drinkers please know you have the Keurig or a French Press with coffee grinder). The house, grounds and pool are just beautiful. Great place to stay to see East side of island, Hilo and Volcano so close! I’d love to come back here!

Gathering for a wedding

We came to attend our son’s wedding. This property met our needs perfectly. The property was well equipped to make it feel like a home away from home. I especially loved listening to Hawaiian music on the lanai. We would rent this property again.
