Beautiful 4 Bedroom Waterfront villa in Long Bay, Antigua

Situated on the waterfront in the Verandah Estates, Antigua (adjacent to the Verandah Resort and Spa) our beach home is approximately 4,500 sq. ft, furnished tastefully, with breath-taking views of the Island and the Caribbean waters. This 6 year old home is on two floors, with each floor containing 2 bedrooms (all four bedrooms have en-suite bath) , powder room, spacious and comfortably furnished living room, and dining room with seating for 8 (indoors). 3 of the bedrooms have king size beds, and the fourth bedroom has two queen-size beds. There is an additional single daybed in the downstairs master bedroom. The house was completed in 2017 and features beautiful gourmet kitchens on both levels with top-quality stainless steel appliances, corian countertops and custom cabinets. Amenities include a large sundeck off the upper kitchen and livingroom, television (streaming services only) wifi, sonos speakers, tropical garden, detached garage, gas barbecue, and a gorgeous infinity pool. The covered patio adjacent to the pool has outdoor dining seating 10 persons and a refreshing outdoor shower

Beautiful house and pool plenty of space for our family of seven.The kitchen had everything you would need there was even coffee for us which we forgot to buy and a beautiful platter of fresh fruit.Lots of spices even some condiments. Great time for all!

The house was clean and accurate to the description. The water pressure and temp in the showers were low at times. Pool was wonderful. June was amazing to work with and very helpful. We loved that you could walk to Long Bay from the house if you wanted.

Great View

The property was clean and functional. The views from the pool are breath taking. It was situated in a very private quiet area. The house manager was responsive. The only downside was that the property is on the opposite of most restaurants so the drive was a bit. And the roads in Antigua are a challenge. Not for the faint of heart. We really enjoyed our trip.

We believe poked this trip as a Christmas present for my daughter to stay during her birthday week. This house was exactly how we imagined it would be. Quiet, secluded, comfortable, spacious with the most incredible views. June was helpful in every way and Dion gave us an island tour deep with history and a nice beach stop for more snorkeling.We took advantage of Long Bay Beach almost every day to lounge in the ocean or spend time on the reef snorkeling. Each morning we enjoyed the outdoor porches to drink coffee and listen to the ocean. The best vacation with activities and relaxation. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Antigua.A few notes: we rented a car, ate at Shirley Heights for Sunday Sunset, celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Sheer Rocks, and had our last night dinner at Five Senses. We also did the SoCoHo kayak and snorkeling tour. I would highly recommend any or all of these activities!

First time in Antigua

To start things out we had Mitzie the property manager do some preliminary grocery shopping for us so our pantry and fridge were stocked when we arrived! Secondly, we had June cook us a welcome dinner so we travelworn people were able to settle into our rooms and enjoy the pool and property the very first day. Our cleaning lady, Val, was also wonderful, having clean linens and towels always available. She was also very knowledgeable and informative about island life. We would love to come back again!

What a great time we all had. Maureen was very accommodating from the start. Mitzie (house manager), June (meal prep) and the driver (who's name escapes me) made the entire trip effortless. The "driver" was on point with all of his recommendations on where to go for beach day trips and dinners. He took the time to show us around the cities and just a wealth of overall knowledge. The house is appointed with very high end furnishings - there was nothing more we could have needed / wanted. We'll be back next year!!

Wonderful Week in Willikies!

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Villa Elena! The house was perfect for 4 couples and for a 50th birthday celebration. To start, the house was beautiful and accommodating, providing everything that we needed to be comfortable and stress-free during our week stay, plus we could have stayed there all week and been perfectly content! On one occasion, we rented a car service, provided expertly by Dion, who was wonderful to work with and available even on short notice for our Barbuda excursion. There was nothing that we wanted for in the accommodations. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals, the rooms and beds were very comfortable, the patios were inviting, and we especially enjoyed the infinity pool daily! We want to thank you for providing such an amazing place in Antigua. Your attention to every detail is evident and very much appreciated. We also want to thank June, the house manager, for being a dream to work with. She checked in with us daily, answered questions, and provided the recommended "stock the fridge" service and a welcome meal for us upon request. It was wonderful! She helped us with requests (some in advance and some last minute) for the birthday and provided recommendations and contacts for other excursions. We also had a chef come in to prepare the birthday dinner, and it was delicious and extra special! Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to make some great memories in Antigua!

Wonderful!

This house is amazing! The pictures don't do justice, though they are exactly as you see! We stayed with friends in early December so the duplex living worked out perfectly. Mitzie is so sweet and gracious. she provides the prefect welcome and departure for your stay! She made sure we had everything we we for our week at the house. A pleasure not having to go shopping upon arrival!! This is an amenity you MUST take advantage of. The house was stocked perfectly! We also had sevearal meals prepared by the amazing cook, June. She did not disappoint! Maureen's recommendation for using Curtis to drive us places also was great to have, even though we rented a car. Driving in the hills at night can be a bit nerve wracking when you don't know the roads. I recommend this house to anyone who's looking to enjoy a week of relaxing in the hills of Antigua. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you McCann family for sharing your home with us!

This was just a perfect holiday for all of us 10 !!!

If we summarize our stay, from the Diner serve by June at our arrival and the initial grocery done to full our kitchen to the bi-daily visit of Val that is amazing and full of ressources to help us have an even greater Antigua experience. Val made our stay at this marvellous house to be just exceptional. Thanks Val we miss you. She took care of everything form the house to us The house was perfect the pool even better with a view that we miss now back home, The only caveats that can be fix easily is poor internet connection only on 1 floor that has prevents us to work that is not a bad thing and missing some poolside chairs to enjoy the view. The week in paradise

The villa is amazing! It is new and beautiful. The views are so spectacular it is hard to leave the pool to explore the rest of the island. The villa itself is very spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Cleaning lady came twice to help us maintain it that way. It is also very well stocked with all the things one might think of. Beach and pool towels, some snorkeling gear, beach chairs, coolers etc, which is very convenient if you are traveling light. A/C is quite and efficient ensuring good night sleep. Kitchen is fully stocked with good quality cookware and cooking supplies. So much effort was put into making guests feel comfortable and worry-free. Thank you, Maureen and Mitzie!

Why they chose this property

Antigua is the archetypal Caribbean island - sun-drenched, white sand beaches and surrounded by aquamarine sea. The island has a long tradition of sailing, both in historic association with Britain (Horatio Nelson was stationed here) and sailing in its modern form, as the venue for the Caribbean’s major regatta and winter home to a number of megayachts. However, it is for the easy life and friendly islanders - and the wide variety of beaches - that most people visit.
