Peaceful respite with everything we love about quality VRBO with bonus features of curious sheep, chickens and two delightful barn cats that became fast friends with us. Drank coffee on the balcony with a cat on my lap while listening to the clip clop of horses nearby. Gorgeous starry nights. Near restaurants and other regional treasures. Cozy, comfortable. Guest book listed positive reviews back to 2018, with many people who have visited five times. I can see why. It’s a special spot tucked in the valley. Very restful.

Beautiful setting. A lot of space to walk our dog. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and cozy. Owners were very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. I would stay there again.

We were looking for a remote setting to relax and this is perfect. Rick is super nice and helped fix an issue quick. Highlight of our stay are the barn cats Rusty and Patches who were super friendly. We had clear nights during our stay and the sky was super dark with no light pollution. We did star gazing and I took some pictures of deep sky objects

A Beautiful Setting

A favorite get away for us. Great hosts, beautiful location, fly fishing, and fun food in nearby Viroqua and Westby. Relaxing and serene.
