The tale of the Trout cabin is located in Timber Ridge Estates and sits next to a big cabin on a hillside corner lot surrounded by native pines and hardwood trees that give it a secluded feeling. Located just minutes from Beavers Bend State state Park. This cozy studio cabin is equipped with a queen bed for two. A ready to cook kitchen for a simple dinner at home or take the night off and head up the road for dining/ drinks and live music. Enjoy the feeling of sitting high in the trees.The tale of the Trout cabin is just a mile to the entrance of Beavers Bend state park. There you can explore the Lower mountain fork, where there are beautiful trout caught year round. (You can hire a local fly fishing guide to show you the ropes) If fishing isn’t your thing why not take a dip in the pristine water of Broken bow lake? Or Kayak the rock gardens on the LMF. There are plenty of scenic hiking trails to fulfill your outdoor needs. The options are truly endless.

*Note* the cabin is connected by a deck which separates it from our bigger cabin. We have friendly dogs and cats that love to greet the guest.

Small circle drive, may not fit some boats and trailers. Cabin is tucked behind a bigger cabin. It’s hard to see from the road because of all the big beautiful trees. Entrance is at bottom of the hill on lamprey rd.

The property was fun and whimsical and loved the outdoor patio and grill area. Didn't need anything as we were blessed with coffee and provided with all you would need to cook. The bathroom was nice and roomy and the fireplace was nice as well as the sofa and bed comfy comfortable. The walk to the door was a little bit of a challenge with these old knees but we were fine. Would stay again!

So Sorry to hear this. I checked on all of these things you commented on…There is a chance you had the heater on the wrong mode. It also takes a few minutes to kick on. We just tested it and it is working just fine. The toilet wouldn’t flush one time for y’all. You called and we were able to get it resolved right away. (We were never made aware of the heater not working) The water pressure is completely normal so I don’t see what the issue was. The issue I have. Is the way you left our cabin. It’s probably the worst anyone has ever left it. How you managed to pee on the floor and bottom of the toilet is mind boggling. The kitchen is a disaster. There is food on the countertops and all over the floor. We take pride in providing a clean and working cabin for our guests. We don’t expect the cabin to be spotless when guests leave, but this level of filth was beyond normal.

Property has everything you will need, from towels to coffee cups. The cabin is very cozy but could use a furniture upgrade. The futon couch and wicker barstools arent very comfortable. All in all a very good stay and would stay again.
