Perfect location

Perfect location! This vacation home is within walking distance of the beach and very close to everything you need. We especially loved the back yard area. The beds were very comfortable as well. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Great, clean little place

Second time at this property. We really like the quiet location and the cleanliness of the property. The only complaint would be the tv internet connection was slow and sometimes locked up leaving us unable to sign on to our Amazon Prime. Other than that really like and enjoy the place.

Family Vacation

My initial reaction to seeing the property was really cool. Blue is my favorite color, so it was awesome to see so much blue. The outside of the place was nice and small. It definitely had a cozy beach vibe to it. Upon arriving at the property the door code was wrong than the number listed. I called the property manager and they answered promptly. After explaining the minor issue they sent the new code over immediately. Once we were inside we saw more blue like the ocean. The kids loved the color, and the small feel of the place. They loved the bunk bed. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The only issue we had was the second set of neighbors in the back of the property kept slamming doors late at night. This only occurred on our last 2 nights there. Other than that and them arguing it was very peaceful. I would definitely stay at the property again, or recommend it to another small family.

When we arrived the cleaning lady was there. The code to the door did not work. She was very instrumental in getting a new code. It’s a duplex so neighbors can be an issue. First set were awesome, second set (no fault of their own) we could hear doors shutting very late. Needs more seating in the tv room. Only one couch. No broom for sweeping up the sand, had to buy one. Left it there for the next visitors. Bathroom toilet developed a leak from around the base. Leaked into the closet in the second bedroom. Text owner about leak, got a pretty quick response. Overall, a bit overpriced for what you get, but sure beats spending a ton on resorts or motels. Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully with some slight improvements. Online pictures are obviously when it was first put up for renting. Outside setting area needs revamped.

Disappointed

The property is in a great location. Its older but still what you need. Did our walk thru check. The toilet was leaking on the floor, sand & what looked like dried candy on bedspread, hair & candy& what looked like pizza sauce on sheets. Pillows had stains on them. Chewed gum in paper left on desk. Big black hairball with candy wrappers under kitchen table, hairballs in other rooms. Dropped phone behind couch pulled it out hair gallore, chip bags & candy wrappers. M&M's melted in ice cube trays, dirty utensils in kithen drawers & sand everywhere. Messaged about toilet came next day & said it was fixed for us to use, but didnt need to come back. Came home the next day to our door open a couple of inches and they were there working on toilet. We sat out front for 3 hrs with our water off until he finished. While we waited he left & picked up another woman who worked with them that he said was "having husband troubles" that took 30 mins. They left a woman to keep working she got mad how long they were gone she borrowed our phone and left a text for them using the f word on our phone. When they got back the woman was fussing and walked up the street. Everything from the filth to trying to message the the owners was awful they are out of the country though. Margarita said I was threating to exploit her w/ a bad review & pics & not to take the pain of my mom dying Wed night out on them! I've never written a bad review with VRBO before!! Iwould like to hear from VRBO.

Perfect getaway!!

The two things I look for in a rental is location and cleanliness and this property gets high marks in both. The property is as described with no surprises or complaints. Enjoyed the property very much. Would definitely return.

OWNER CANCELLED ON DAY OF ARRIVAL

We booked and fully paid for this property in February 2021 for a family spring break trip at the end of March 2021. When we arrived, the access code did not work. The owner did not respond to messages via vrbo. We texted the owner on the numbers provided in the property information. The owner responded by cancelling the reservation and issuing a refund. Our family of 4 had no where to stay after an 18 hour drive. All other hotels and vrbo were booked. We were on hold with vrbo for 3 hours. These property owners were not at all remorseful or apologetic. They simply said "booking error" despite having confirmed the booking 5 days before our arrival. Ultimately they hung up on us. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE UNETHICAL OWNERS.

Amazing Stay

We found and booked this cute house last minute and couldn't have been more pleased! It was perfect and we will for sure be back! We loved everything about it! There was some work being done to the back unit and even the workers were amazing! Seriously the best stay!

WE LOVE IT!

My family and I really enjoyed this cute beach house, including our dogs! It's walking distance to the beach and shops. We like it that it's on the quiet side of the town, but only 15 min drive to the pier if we want to see crowd lol. It's also only 1.5 miles to St. Andrew State Park. We will definitely will come back to stay here again. Thank you~!

Home Away From Home - For 2 legs and 4 legs

Visited Panama Beach for a short but well-deserved vacation. This little paradise spot was just what the doctor ordered. Located only two minutes from the white beautiful sandy beach and cool ocean breeze. Margarita makes sure everything you could want or need is available all you need to do is show up with is your flip flops. The home is a duplex but growing up in Florida we are used to them and find it cozy. When we were there the other unit was rented but you would never know it. The one thing I would warn you of is this is a Florida beach home if you are looking for a 5 start resort then go stay a a 5 start resort. If you are looking for a place to bring the family and fur babies, This is the best value you will find any where in Panama City. This may have been the best little vacation we have taken in a long time and it’s all thanks to the little Paradise by the Beach

Not a dog friendly house.

We evacuated from hurricane Florence and decided to come to Panama City Beach for a vacation. As soon as we arrived at the house, there was construction equipment in the back yard where the maintenance man was building a kennel for dogs. THE BACK YARD IS NOT FENCED IN. We were made to believe that it was. We walked into the house and it was 82 degrees inside. We immediately turned the a.c. down because we had a husky. We took a quick peak at the house but decided it was to hoy so we went to the beach. While walking in the yard to take our dog to the beach he began to limp. I immediately checked his feet and saw that he had five sandspurs in his paw pads. So I had to remove those and after I did so he continued to limp a little bit from the pain. We made our way to the beach and when we got there we noticed a sign that said no dogs allowed on the beach. So we came back home sat on the couch and called margarita to talk about the house not being dog friendly. Two hours after turning the air conditioning down to 62 the temperature had only dropped from 80 degrees to 78 degrees. So we ask Margarita if we could get a refund and try to find somewhere else I was a little more dog friendly. We expressed our concerns to her about the construction in the backyard, the air conditioning not working, and the sand spurs in the yard. Her response was the air conditioning is brand new so it's working, the maintenance guy will be done in a day or two, and there's nothing I can do about the sand spurs. We became very frustrated because we drove 11 hours to get there and its 6:00 and we had to find another place to stay. After booking another place last minute to stay Margarita told us since we had stayed two hours she would relist the property and if someone else were to book it she would refund our money. She had another booking the next day but still charged us the cleaning fee and only refunded half of the money. Overall this was a terrible VRBO experience and if you really are thinking about bringing your dog on vacation I would recommend somewhere else because it is not a suitable environment for a dog on vacation. We went down to Carillon Beach resorts and stayed in a wonderful Resort Room that was dog friendly and had four pools and was the same exact price as this property. We were still able to have a nice vacation but this really put a sour taste in our mouths at the very beginning.

Loved it, very nice and clean and didn't break the bank.

The property was clean, very nice, and found this to be at a really good price. I love how it's a block from the beach, we walked to the beach everyday. It had everything we needed the whole 5 days we were there. We will be booking here again.
