We had a wonderful family Christmas in this beautiful home surrounded by stunning scenery! The hosts were very welcoming, attentive and friendly - even loaning something we forgot. We would highly recommend staying in this amazing home.
Really enjoyed our stay at this vrbo. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
The views simply can't be any better! A beautiful mountain get away...the pictures were just as expected. This worked well for our family of 7. The hot tub and deck seating made it a lovely stay!
This property was absolutely beautiful and everything we were looking for as our Christmas getaway. It was very homey and comfortable. The owners were very responsive. Also, loved the blue eyed dog that seemed to wait for us whenever we went out and greeted us warmly each time!
This was the second stay for my adult kids and I. This place is a gem! It was the perfect basecamp for our 12 hr hike, and a relaxing place to crash after. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains, full kitchen, BBQ, and huge private deck with hot tub are some of our favorite things. Super clean & like new, this place was like a 5 star lodge. Hosts were great, easy check-in/check-out. You will not want to leave!
This is the second time my family has stayed at this wonderful cabin the woods and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The check in and out process was very easy, we had everything we needed to prepare meals, we were comfortable and entertained. The views never get old and are best enjoyed from the hot tub. My family enjoys this destination so much, it is the perfect getaway. We can't wait to return next year.
First, gorgeous place inside and out. Perfectly cleaned and luxurious. I had misread the info and thought there were three beds and three full baths. There are three bedrooms and two full baths and a half bath. We were short a bathroom which we needed and one of the bathrooms was shared between two rooms which didn’t work for us. I was willing to pay more for that necessity so was disappointed.
We had a wonderful stay. Great views, and incredible Lake Kachess! Definitely get to the campground day use area before 9 (or go after 5:00) on weekends to get a spot though, it fills up fast. A bit of a quirky setup for the house and a very steep driveway (4 wheel drive recommended), but it is a very nice place. We didn’t do the hot tub or the fire pit, but those would be amazing outside of the heat of summer. Thank you for another great VRBO experience!
Great accommodations, convenient to all areas we were interested in visiting, beautiful scenic lake and mountain views from the entire house, will recommend to family and friends.
I was feeling a bit of cabin fever, so I decided to book this house for the weekend. My husband, two small boys (5 and 3), and I really enjoyed ourselves while staying here. Originally we had planned to ski at Snoqualmie two days of our stay, but we were having such a good time enjoying the property and the beautiful views, we never left the house. I definitely recommend adding the hot tub to your stay, it was a bit hit for our kids and a very relaxing spot to soak up the views for the adults. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We spent a lot of time in the living room watching movies and playing games and we were very comfortable. the WIFI was fast and my husband was able to get some remote work done easily. Family members of the owners live in the completely separate upstairs living space, but we never heard them or saw them, apart from the very friendly and helpful welcome we received at check in. Even though this house is only about 90 minutes away from home for us, we can't wait to come back.
My friends & I left our families to come fill a crisis need in a local critical care department. We’ve been away from our family & friends for some time. Our daughters are graduating high school and brought them from Fl to this beautiful place for a respite and fun. It was fabulous. Valley was a hit w the girls w everyone. The owners daughter was accommodating and very friendly. Thank you for a great two days of peace!!
We loved the place, it had everything you’ll need in a stay. The view during the day is breathtaking! Owner was extremely friendly and helpful before and during the stay!
Not too far from the freeway with gorgeous views of mountains, trees and lake. The family did a nice job keeping the road plowed. Highly recommend adding the hot tub to the package!
We enjoyed a quiet weekend... Used the location as a base camp for some cycling and hiking on the pass. Everything was clean and as advertised.
Perhaps consider adding some of the internet/media limitations. We could've brought some more evening entertainment options with us. But very content to just read!
Thank you for sharing your mountain home.
Lachelle and family were so friendly and helpful... She went out of her way to provide extra sheets, and we got some great advice on what to visit/see/hike in the area from her parents. The home was extraordinary, and felt very private and remote, while also being really easy to find and access. We hope to stay there again very soon!
It was such a beautiful place and it felt very welcoming. The people were so nice and the view was beautiful.

It’s all about the view
Beautiful setting and view. Some impressive aesthetics in the home. Comfortable beds. The best feature is the outdoor living space. This is also the primary eating and gathering space. If you plan to dine here I highly recommend bar b Qing and bringing prepared sides and chips. Don’t plan on any formal dining or major food preparation. This kitchen is dark with no windows. And it is very small. Not good for cooking together, eating in or spending time in. There’s not a lot of storage in the refrigerator. So supplying cold drinks as well as cold food is a problem. The dishwasher does not handle major jobs, so we had to redo dishes by hand, which was frustrating. Bring your own paper plates and plan on simpler meals.
This is a great property with an incredible view, comfortable beds, and a wonderful hot tub. Early spring brought us bright sun and 6 inches of snow - sometimes both on the same day! The contrasts in weather highlighted the multi-season beauty right outside the windows.
The living room is definitely the centerpiece. It has the best views, comfortable couches, and the best light. The kitchen is small, but functional, and has just about every small appliance you could think of. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. Outside, the hot tub earns every bit of the supplemental fee. It was the cleanest hot tub we had ever seen, and whatever the weather, it was quite nice. The grill was unusually good for a rental property - complete with infrared searing burner.
The property managers were very responsive, but also respected our privacy.
The only partial downside was relative. Even though the space is private, it is below another occupied living space. There are normal sounds from people living upstairs. That's it. It's a great place.
The guesthouse was a great place to stay for a quite and cozy getaway. Space was ample for 4 adults and 2 kids (1 infant), the hot tub and deck was excellent, and very close to lots of winter activities. Overall excellent
The property was spacious for my family. It was also clean and well stocked. The owners were very helpful and courteous. They even cleared the snow off the driveway when required so I could get my car up the steep gravel driveway.
