5 Bedroom Waterfront Home Hot Tub Boat Sleeps 26

The size and layout of this home is not easy to explain, but trust me when I say it has more room than any other waterfront rental in Tan Tar A/Margaritaville. The large gathering areas (3 separate living rooms) and 2 complete kitchens really let you spread out and enjoy the Lake, the home has a great flow to it, is not just 5 bedrooms and a bunch of stairs. Each level is just a half flight of stairs down from the other, with one private 3 bed suite up by itself for privacy. Your lake view is truly mesmerizing, you will love watching the boats go by both night and day! The main level is walk in with no steps into the house and two suites on that level for people with mobility issues.

Golf cart is included in rental for easy access to additional parking, pools, etc. Pet friendly for smaller dogs.

If you stayed here before and liked it, you will love it now! It has been remodeled with new furniture, bright, cheerful colors, and a new feel-good, breezy style nautical theme that goes well with the Margaritaville theme at Tan Tar A. Bedroom 1 has 3 full sized beds, each room has its own full bath. Bedroom 2 has 2 full beds and a bunk bed. Bedroom three has 2 full beds. Bedroom 4 is a king with plenty of room for temporary beds. Bedroom 5 is a king. There are 2 sleeper sofas located in 2 of the 3 living rooms. We also have a roll away bed to add to any room.

You can go for a safe walk in the estates on the 5K trail or even better walk the golf cart paths of a 9 hole golf course that is closed down but still maintained daily. The golf cart is a great option for visiting the resort at Margaritaville and it's numerous activities.

The area has many wineries, every dining option you could ask for, amazing fishing, outlet shopping, coffee shops, rental watersports many natural attractions like 2 state parks and multiple caves to explore. You can float rivers, ride horseback, there is even a casino 80 miles away for a day trip. You are by no means limited to the resort for your entertainment.

There is a private lakefront to fish, but no private dock at this time. Rental boat companies are plentiful as are fishing charters and boat day trips.

Our property uses a streamlined check-in process, which means you’ll never need to waste time trying to meet up with someone to get your keys. Just follow the easy instructions we will send you 4 days before your arrival.


NOTE There will be no Frat parties, or any excessive noise/beer pong/underage drinking allowed at this home. There is external video on this home and if there is a noise complaint or the police are called you will be asked to leave with no refund on your stay. If you want to party and trash a place, rent from the resort, they don't care what do. It will not be tolerated at this property and you will pay a hefty fine and repairs for any damages.

Inside the house was nice. Decorated cute. Beds were comfortable. Really liked that every bedroom had a bathroom attached.The outside of the house needs some TLC & the main deck needs some work. The golf cart also needs some work. The driveway is not the easy to get in & out of. The parking was very tight for 2 big pickups & 2 full size SUV’s. Overall, good place just some maintenance issues.

Decks are fine. We are switching to new no maintenance decking this off season. They won't have to be stained twice a year every year. Golf cart works great, if you ever have any issues just give me a call. I am sure after 30 years of property management I can resolve it.

Wonderful family vacation

This is a great lake house for a family vacation. Having separate areas for each family was so wonderful and the common areas were large enough to accommodate all. The large outdoor deck with two big tables made for easy eating. The owner was very attentive to our needs. We rented a pontoon and utilized the multiple swimming pools available to us.

The host was very responsive, the house was on the lake. A pool wax nearby. The home was perfect for multi family fun together while offering privacy and alone time when wished. The upstairs deck was perfect for early morning coffee, lake watching, and bird sounds!

School Trip

We took 5 of our 8th grade students for their class trip, our school only goes to 8th grade! We always try to make it special and something they may never get to experience again and this location was above this for them! They had an amazing time and loved the hot tub! If we were to take another group there in the future this is where I would try to stay! It was clean, cool and enough space so nobody was bothering anyone else!

Perfect property for families with kids!

My family joined with two others for a mini-reunion! We have six children between us (ages 5-14) and this home provided more than enough room for all of us. It was clean, well-stocked, and has a beautiful view of the lake. We fished from the shore, soaked in the hot tub, played games at the table, cooked yummy food in the (two!) kitchens and walked around the community. We appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the kitchens had everything we might need! When we return to the Lake of the Ozarks we will definitely see if this property is available!

Stunning views and huge home

We recently stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our son's wedding. The house is as described and is nicely decorated. The owners were easy to communicate with, but the property definitely was not prepped for our stay. Decks were filthy and no one checked to make sure that the showers all worked. We had to dig out cushions for the deck from a closet downstairs and find towels for all the bathrooms. It's a nice place, but the prep for our stay just wasn't there.

Lord some people.... This lady called me and within 5 minutes I was there to address her needs which included her not knowing how to work a shower (they worked fine, they weren't pulling out the knob). They checked in way early and maintenance hadn't been there to blow leaves yet, all which was done by the proper check in time. You can't please everyone, but read all reviews and you will see this house is always clean and ready to go with great reviews.

Weekend golf trip

House was great. Lots of room, and was very clean. My only complaint, and it’s a small one, was that the house was about 80° when we walked in. On an unseasonably warm day for September 30th, it was less than ideal to walk in to that heat. The first hour, until we got it cooled down, was BRUTAL. Understandable to have it higher than normal, but to not have it on at all was a shock. There was also no checkout folder, so we were left to guess exactly what the expectations were when we left.

October is hard time of year for pre- heating and cooling because the range of temperatures. Glad you were able to regulate the temperature to your liking in less than an hour. That house has a unique set up with 2 central air units and multiple PTAC (wall/hotel style AC/heat unit) so it can quickly change over from AC to heat or vice versa. The checkout folder was found in a drawer and a backup is now located in the house as well in case it goes missing again. All of the check in check in check out procedures are on the VRBO app in case th folder gets misplaced by a child etc.

Very poorly maintained with broken lights, electrical outlets, broken refrigerator shelving, broken furniture, etc. one of the upstairs toilets would not flush because of the build up and we had to scrape the gunk and clean the toilet. The house was not cleaned and there were dead bugs in every room. There were old flossing sticks left on one of the beds and floors of one of the rooms. The video game was broken and no ball for the foosball machine. There were not enough utensils for the amount of people and only one towel per person for 4 days. There were numerous lightbulbs burned out and no replacement bulbs. There was not adequate lighting because of lack of lamps and lightbulbs. The coffee machine was full of gunk. They requested we start laundry and dishes prior to departing but there were no supplies provided. The deck was covered in mold and algae and was unsafe for elderly to attempt walking in due to the slippery slats. There were numerous doors that were broken and would not shut properly, one being a bathroom door that would not shut at all. The width of the railings in the stairs were so large a child could fall through to the floor below. The downstairs kitchen was not equipped with essential cooking utensils and what dishes that were there were not clean and thrown in random cabinets. There was not adequate closet space because there were boxes of junk and miscellaneous items just thrown in. The bbq grill was unusable due to rust and was a fire hazard.

Needs a thorough cleaning. I left a list at the property. The decks, walkways, windows and screens need repaired. The Golf Cart ‘s alignment is off. The steering wheel wobbles. The grills need cleaned. Tubs don’t drain well and some of the faucets were hard to turn. Vents need cleaned. Various light bulbs need replace. Video game was broken. Mold seen in some of the shower heads and tub jets. White trim and woodwork need cleaned. One of the bedroom doors locked every time the door closed. Ice dispenser produced dirty ice sometimes. Found broken glass and clumps of dust under furniture . The PROS: Golf cart, the separation of the suites for privacy and individual temp controls, The decorations, grill and decorations were nice and The View was great😊

People that are inspecting under furniture on a summer vacation don't understand that these properties rent non stop for 100 straight days and as soon as one group of 20+ people check out about 4 hours later a group of another 20+ people check in. A deep cleaning simply isn't possible on every turnaround. Also when I don't hear anything from the a guest during their stay I assume all is well. Lightbulbs, golf cart alignment?, and other items are easily fixed. Some people just bomb a property in the review than to actually call or text the manager for a quick fix.

Great Extended Family Stay!

The property was perfect for our extended family vacation! It was huge and everyone was able to spread out and have their own space. The location was great as was the beautiful view from the multiple decks! The house was decorated beautifully and had all the amenities we needed for a great stay. Check in and out was easy.
