You can visit, in its surroundings, magnificent abbeys (St Martin du Canigou, St Michel de Cuxa, the priory of Serrabone, ...), Romanesque churches, castles (Fort Liberia in Villefranche-de-Conflent, Fort de Mont Louis, ...). Many excursions are available to you: a trip aboard the little yellow train from Villefranche-de-Conflent to the Cerdagne plateau, a hike in the Casteil animal park, two local markets, Tuesday and Saturday . Or for the more athletic, hikes, hikes, horse riding, mountain biking, canyoning, white water bases, hot springs of St Thomas, around Mont Canigou (2785 m above sea level) and its natural parks (Mantet, Nyer , Nohèdes, Eynes)
