Chantilly is a beautiful place to visit and the house is ideal for getting to and from various nearby attractions. Everything is very accessible - shops, supermarkets, pharmacies... this is an ideal place to stay. In fact we do hope to return but this time with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchild.Muriel and Mary made our arrival very easy. Muriel speaks perfect English and was so helpful. The house is clean and comfortable. We are all ping pong enthusiasts but the table is in the basement and it was not easy to play properly in a confined space - it would have been nice if the table could have been outside where there is more space, but to be honest, in the middle of a heatwave who is playing table tennis?!The house was lovely and cool - even though it was so hot in France while we were there. We returned to Château de Chantilly on a two day ticket but also returned again on the day of the eclipse. Château de Chantilly opened its grounds free of charge for people to sit at this ideal viewing point and watch the eclipse. It was a fantastic evening. Get a Chantilly cream ice-cream at the famous ice-cream stall there....perfection!A wonderful week in this lovely house!

Lovely stay

Stayed for 2 weeks in the summer. Lovely property in quiet surroundings. The host was very attentive and could not have done more to ensure the property suited our needs. Very spacious and our children loved the garden. Close to local amenities, 25 minute train journey from Paris and lots locally to see. We would definitely consider staying again.

Lovely house with easy travel to Paris

My husband and I stayed in Lamorlaye during August 2022. We enjoyed the terrace which received great sunshine and our pet loved the enclosed large yard. Lamorlaye is close to Orrey Ville which has nonstop TER service to Gard du Nord in Paris. It was quite easy to get to Paris. Lamorlaye has great shops and services as does next-door Chantilly. Don't miss a visit to the Chateau in Chantilly and the spectacle de chevaux.

Accueil très sympathique et serviable de Muriel. Maison encombrée des affaires personnelles des propriétaires. Il est annoncé 5 chambres, alors qu’il n’y a qu’une chambre avec lit double, et 3 chambres avec 1 lit 1 personne, plus 1 bureau avec 1 canapé. Cuisine avec des ustensiles usagés et disparates. Une vieille table de jardin, un seul transat. Villa typique du lys, mais à rénover pour retrouver l’appellation « villa de luxe »

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer sehr schönen Gegend, nicht weit entfernt vom Schloss Chantilly. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man sich wünscht und sehr komfortabel. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr nett und man hat sich um alles gekümmert. Der Garten und die Terrasse bieten viele Möglichkeiten zur Entspannung und Kinder haben eine tolle Möglichkeit dort zu spielen. Ich kann die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Le cadre est très agréable, la maison est située dans le calme de la végétation sans aucune nuisance. La maison est spacieuse et confortable. Nous avons eu la change d'avoir un temps magnifique qui nous permis de profiter tous les jours de la terrasse.

Magnificent property in a tranquil setting

This is a spacious and elegantly decorated house in a unique area, that affords privacy and comfort. A relaxing environment with lots of natural light, a considerable garden and ample bedrooms. The property manager was very courteous, proactive and welcoming. I would certainly return given the opportunity!

Belle maison spacieuse avec de nombreuses commodités dans un bel endroit

Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans cette belle maison. Le grand salon dispose de suffisamment de canapés pour tout le monde, la cheminée était très agréable les jours les plus froids, la cuisine est équipée de toutes sortes d'appareils pratiques et il y a beaucoup d'assiettes, de couverts, de bols, etc. La communication avec Muriel (la personne de contact) s'est très bien déroulée. Deux problèmes ont été résolus très rapidement. Je recommande vraiment cette maison!

Summer 19 Lamorlaye

This property is in a beautiful setting with spacious grounds and close to the castle at Chantilly. It would be more suitable for a family with children rather than 2 couples as there is really only one double/ king size bed. Our contact, Muriel and her husband were really good and extremely helpful. Muriel lent us a high chair. The whole experience was smooth and relaxing.

Belle maison, bonnes prestations, grand jardin.

Notre séjour avait mal commencé, visiblement le propriétaire de la maison avait oublié notre arrivée!!! Nous avons dû attendre plusieurs heures avant de récupérer les clés. Il a tout fait ensuite pour se rattraper (geste commercial). Ce petit désagrément a été vite oublié tant notre séjour fût agréable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé l’ambiance au coin du feu et l’emplacement. Nous recommandons chaudement cette maison.
