Cozy, comfortable, clean, well maintained, and it affords some good privacy. The location feels somewhat remote, but if you use Rt 321 coming and going, it’s only about 15-20 mins to Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg.
Chili Bear was a beautiful cabin! The roads to get there were a little scary for us, but it's just because driving through mountains isn't what we're used to. The view, every single morning, was spectacular, & coffee in hand made it even better. The hot tub was relaxing after a day at Dollywood & driving! The cabin was beautiful from the wood, to the high vaulted ceilings! The price was perfect! The stuff provided at the cabin was nice. It was an amazing, wonderful vacation.
The overall stay was amazing. My partner and I enjoyed the beautiful view, the jacuzzi, and arcade games and movies. It was peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend booking.
Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very clean, even the jets to the inside hot tub were clean.Very cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities.Would definitely recommend bringing toilet paper, only had 2 rolls.

Hello, we really appreciate your kind words. However, if you had read your confirmation letter, you would have known that we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags, as well as dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, and hand soap . At a minimum, we provide one brand new roll of toilet paper per bathroom. The confirmation letter plainly states that if you need more during your stay, then it would have to be self supplied. In addition, these are not small rolls of toilet paper. It is Memeber's Mark toilet paper from Sam's Club. We very much appreciate you choosing our rental cabin. That said, guests should read all provided paperwork relevant to their stay. It would go a long way in making their stay the best it could be and not leave the host missing that much deserved fifth star. Thank you again.
We walked in and were in awww absolutely beautiful thank you Jim for all your help with our plans to tennessee we will definitely be back.feel in love tennessee
Really loved Chili Bear! Being form hot/dry Phoenix my wife and I had a great time. A lot of hiking and lot of junk food! We were able to grill every night at the cabin. There was one issue because of sharing a well with other properties that caused low pressure. But Jim took care of this right away. Overall a great place to stay and relax. The drive to the cabin is pretty curvy, but it's in the mountains so that is expected. We had a small 4 door sedan and it was fine. We even got to see 3 big rain storms, which we never see in Phoenix! One thing to note is the cabin comes without items like extra paper towels, cooking spray, laundry soap. That is all good and we left what we didn't use. Just be aware before showing up.

Hello, it was very nice meeting your wife and yourself. We would like to take a moment and clarify just a few points. The reason for the low water pressure wasn't because of the shared well. The water pressure was low because the upstairs toilet was allowed to run continuously for around 18 hours before we were made aware of the issue. Once notified of the issue, it was fixed in about 30 to 45 minutes. Both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms have now been equipped with brand new toilets hopefully eliminating any future issues.
Also, every cabin is provided with at least one brand new adequately sized, (i.e., not a tiny roll) roll of paper towels. Furthermore, if one reads their confirmation letter, it explains in detail what is provided and what will need to be self supplied at the cabin. Food items are never provided for health and safety reasons. Due to allergies and varying tastes, laundry detergent is likewise not provided.
Again, it was very nice meeting and talking with you and we hope that you will visit our area and stay with us again.
The location of the property and the view were both great. We had a wonderful week staying here. Its great for a couple get away or even if you want to bring the whole family.
This cabin is picture perfect. My husband and I have stayed here twice now and love everything about it. It's tucked away, but not too far. The cabin is spotless and provides all the comforts of your home away from home. The hot tub is a great way to relax after our day out hiking / adventuring. We plan on renting here again next year, it's that good.
We loved chili bear cabin. Everything was very clean and the cabin was very well kept and just down right cute! We had a small problem with the washing machine and Jim was very quick to respond and help out. We would definitely stay here again.
Very clean! Quiet and peaceful setting. Last little bit of road to the cabin is steep and narrow but paved. Close to the many outdoor activities we wanted to do. Enjoyed the clean hot tub after a day of hiking.
