Modern and charming house on two levels with a private garden and heated pool. Wifi. AC on the upper floor (with three bedrooms).

Perfect for families with kids. Suitable for renting also during mid-seasons (April and May as well as September and October): the pool is heated and much to do and see in the area.

Newly installed AC on the upper floor with three bedrooms. On the entrance floor (with one bedroom) there are fans.

Free wifi. TV (including BBC).

Four separate bedrooms (8 beds + 2 in one sofa bed + 1 baby crib). The entry level has in open plan a kitchen, dining room and living room, with exits to three terraces in different directions, as well as bedroom 1 (double bed, with exit to terrace), bathroom (shower) and separate toilet. The upper level has three bedrooms (bedroom 2 – double bed, bedroom 3 – double bed + sofa bed, bedroom 4 – two single beds), bathroom (bathtub and shower) and a separate toilet.

Although the house is centrally located in Roujan (150 meters from the main street with a few cafes and restaurants), it is in a quiet and secluded area. It has a lush garden, several patios and a private pool. Since the pool can be heated, the house is a good option also during midseasons (April-May and September-October).

Since the owners have children themselves, the house and garden are well-equipped for families with children (e.g. high chairs and a cot).

About the village and the area: Cozy winegrower village Roujan (pop. 2,000) offers a pleasant visit. Bakery, cafés, and restaurants are within walking distance. The village also has a newly opened and well-assorted supermarket, large pharmacy, doctor, dentist and post office. The house is located 150 meters from the main street, but still secluded and very quiet. Roujan lies in the heart of the wine district Languedoc, an area often called California of France. Cozy vineyards and villages succeed each other and the selection of activities and sights is wide. E.g. visit Pezenas's (12 km) market on Saturdays or historic Montpellier (70 km), spend a day at the beach (30 km) or by the lake Salagou (30 km), take a boat trip on Canal du Midi or visit spectacular limestone caves Grotte de Demoiselles (80 km). Nearest golf course 20 km.

We're two sisters owning the house together since early 2014. One of us lives since many years with her family in Paris. The other lives with her family in Stockholm, Sweden. Our house in Roujan gives us the possibility to meet all together - with our children and their grandparents.

At 'Les Terrasses' you're centrally located in a cosy wine growers village. At the same time the property offers a calm and secluded garden with a private, heated pool and several terraces.

The house suited us especially with the pool....it was very warm,especially at nighttime and a bit of air conditioning downstairs the same as upstairs would be appreciated 👍

Une semaine à Roujan

Séjour très agréable dans cette maison à Roujan. Nous étions 2 couples avec 2 enfants chacun. La maison été propre, elle est bien située, proche des commerces et à environ 30min de route de tous les points d'intérêts que nous avons visité. il y a beaucoup d'équipement, vaisselle dans la maison ainsi que pas mal de produits de base pour la cuisine ce qui est appréciable et évite de tout racheter pour une semaine, l'idée est de remplacer ce que l'on fini. Malgré tous les équipements il manque des choses essentielles selon moi (comme une essoreuse à salade, un grand plat à gratin, bac à glaçons...) Climatisation présente dans les 3 chambres du haut, ce qui est très appréciable, par contr pas dans la chambre du bas (ce qui peut être compliqué lors des grosses chaleurs de l'été). Pour l'extérieur, le jardin arboré est très sympathique et la piscine parfaite poru toute la famille. le seul point négatif est l'état de la terrasse bois autour de piscine qui commence à vieillir et mériterait d'être refaite (vis qui ressortent, lames non fixées). Très bonne réactivité de Maria au niveau des messages envoyés et de la communication. Dernier point, le fait que tous les documents d'accueil et d'explications ne soient pas en Français (seulement en Anglais) me semble anormal pour une location en France. Au final nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Roujan.

Maison très agréable à vivre

La maison de Maria est très agréable pour des vacances en famille. Elle est très bien équipée, on y prend très vite ses marques. Le jardin est un petit écrin. Nous sommes au cœur d’un village, où tout peut se faire a pied, et malgré ça, nous sommes à l’abri des regards. Le magnifique palmier, l’olivine mer, ou encore le grand laurier blanc, vous plonge dans une ambiance estivale, c’est magique. Merci à Maria pour sa gentillesse, et sa capacité à répondre très vite aux diverses questions durant notre séjour.

Vacation with family and friends

We enjoyed really a lot our stay at Maria's place! It was big enough for two families and the equipment especially in the kitchen and the pool were just great. Also Maria was very supportive and nice with giving us information & help as well as being very quick in replying. We definitely can recommend this place to chose for your holidays.

Beautiful, spacious home in Roujan

The house is modern and spacious but still cozy, with enough space for a couple of families. The pool is a perfect escape from the summer heat, with shaded areas on both sides of the house to enjoy a liesurely breakfast or dinner. A large grocery store is walking distance, with the local bakery just around the corner. Roujan is a pleasant town with plenty of history, with lots of other towns around to explore. Shorter or longer hikes are also possible just to the west of Roujan.

The property was the perfect size for our 2 families. It had every piece of equipment you could need. It was comfortable and clean and had plenty of fans and mosquito nets etc. The pool is a good size and well looked after. The small village has everything you need and has a supermarket within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. Thanks.

En fantastisk vecka

Tack för en fantastisk vecka i ert vackra och rofyllda hus. Att vakna upp och gå de fem minuterna till brödbutiken och med kragglig franska köpa bröd och sedan sätta sig på frukostaltanen i den värmande solen och inta en lång frukost är ett härligt minne. Att dessutom ha en varm pool att slänga sig i när andan faller på och en vacker lummig trädgård att vila ögonen på gör inte upplevelsen sämre. Efter en dag vid poolen har man en kort promenad till byns restauranger eller till matbutikerna för att inhandla vin och matvaror färdiga eller att laga. Roujans omgivningar rymmer en skatt av sevärdheter och äventyr att besöka och ta del av. Här finns bl a vandringsleder, grottor, vingårdar, slott och historiska platser. Roujans närhet till havet och större samhällen med bredare utbud av restauranger och shopping är en styrka. Vingårdar finns det ett flertal på nära håll och få smaka och köpa vin direkt på vingården är verkligen speciellt. Vi vill komma tillbaka till Roujan.

Excellentes vacances !!

Petite pause de charme à Roujan dans la maison de Maria et Sofia. La maison est top et conforme à la description. La piscine est exposée à la chaleur toute la journée, elle est donc bien chaude en soirée ! Maria et Sofia sont disponibles et répondent très vite. Pas de points négatifs sur cette location. Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances en famille !!

Clean, quiet and comfortable

We loved our stay at this family vacation home. The owners are very kind and helpful and everything is as nice or better than displayed in the advertisement. Roujan is a charming village well off the beaten track with plenty to see and experience there and in the close surroundings. The house is modern and very well accommodated, with the equipment, towels, porcelain and such that one would choose if it was a private home. The pool is great for kids, with a secure cover so that we could leave the kids unattended without worrying for them falling into it. Härlig höstvecka i Roujan

Härligt hus med mycket möjligheter i vacker omgivning. Huset är mysigt, praktiskt och välutrustat med privat läge. Vi njöt av härliga bad i poolen och av husets och trädgårdens charm med flera möjligheter att vistas utomhus. Nära till trevliga promenader i vacker natur och en fin liten by med tillgång till allt man behöver. Med bil når man med lätthet flera intressanta platser och havet ligger inte långt borta. En pärla med härlig trädgård och pool

Vi tillbringade en härlig vecka i detta fräscha, rymliga och välutrustade semesterhus i vinodlarbyn Roujan. Till huset hör en pool och en härlig trädgård, och ligger fint på en höjd strax över byns huvudgata med promenadavstånd till bageriet och de restauranger som finns i Roujan. Härifrån var det också enkelt att göra både kortare och längre dagsutflykter i området, och hyresvärdarna Maria och Sofia var supervänliga och hjälpsamma såväl före som under resan. Vi var tre familjer - sex vuxna och fem barn mellan 6 och 10 år - i huset, vilket nog var maximalt antal. Vi vill varmt rekommendera detta hus!

Toppenstället!

Ett fantastiskt hus med fint, avskilt läge men ändå mitt i byn! Huset är välutrustat och välskött, med alla bekvämligheter. Vi rymdes gott och väl med två barnfamiljer! Välkomnande och god service av fastighetsägare och lokal representant. Jag skulle varmt rekommendera denna bostad till alla som söker en skön semester i en vacker och spännande del av Frankrike!

Wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Roujan! Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool laden zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen ein. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht... Die Umgebung lädt zu zahlreichen Ausflügen ein, zahlreiche schöne Städte, Natur und Strand. Wir genossen die Grillabende auf der Terrasse und die Kinder liebten den Pool. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit erreichbar und wir fühlten uns sehr gut von ihr begleitet. Auch die Kontaktpersonen vor Ort waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter, danke für alles!

Wonderful house for families and friends!

We (4 adults, 4 children) had a wonderful time in "Les Terrasses". Everything was just perfect - the house, the garden, the pool. We really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend this property to all people who are looking for a quiet and well equipped home. Roujan is a lovely place to stay with restaurants, super market and everything you need. The wine district Languedoc offers lots of sights and activities and even the beach is easy to reach. Wonderful house in a great location

Underbar vecka i vackra Languedoc

Tillsammans med våra barns familjer hyrde vi detta underbara hus. Vi fick mycket bra information från vår hyresvärd och huset var precis som det beskrevs. Allt fungerade fantastiskt bra och det passar utmärkt för både barnfamiljer och vuxna utan barn. Välutrustat kök och bra sängar. Mysigt, mitt i en fransk by med närhet till större affär. I området finns många trevliga vingårdar att besöka. Vi vill verkligen rekommendera detta hus och vill gärna åka dit igen.
