This was a family trip that was enjoyable for all. The check-in process was easy, the kitchen was stocked with all the basics, and there were plenty of sleeping accommodations for all.
This home was perfect for a quick winter getaway. The locations was close to multiple ski mountains, offered an amazing view of the lake, and was cozy to enjoy company of family. The wood stove was huge and we spent a few cold, icey days playing games by the fire. Overall highly recommend.
We had another great stay at Kevin’s house. This was our first time staying in August, the house had plenty of air conditioners to keep the place cool. We love our time there, it is relaxing and so peaceful.
Thank you for another wonderful vacation
We definitely enjoyed our 3rd year renting Kevin’s house. We lucked out with the weather, and spent a lot of time in the water.
His house has everything you can need and more. Thank you for another great family vacation!!!
This is a lovely house with a wonderful lakeside location. We loved kayaking around the lake, which is gorgeous and very peaceful. The inside of the house was great for a couple of rainy days. It was nice to eat on the indoor porch and sit where we could see the lake and take in the scenery. Everything inside the home was very comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay here!
Beautiful property! Very spacious & modern house. Well stocked kitchen, nice rooms throughout. So comfortable - perfect for our family to sprawl out! Love the large deck and the screen porch. The yard was huge! Plenty of outside chairs to sit around and relax, and more than enough kayaks, paddleboards, etc. for our family to all go out together on the beautiful lake. Lots to explore - loved it. Thank you!
Everything was just perfect. The house was spotless and shallow sandy beach area was right for all of us. We had three beautiful summer days in May that allowed us to swim, kayak , fish, paddle board and ride the pedal boat everywhere.
Thank you for letting us use all your water toys. We played outside all day and ended the night enjoying s’mores at the lakeside fire pit. There were 10 of us ages 6 to 60. Everything exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect lake getaway!
This property on Ashuelot Pond in Washington NH was everything described on VRBO and more. It is a house, not a cottage! Besides the kitchen and bedroom, there are two large "living/dining" rooms downstairs, a sunroom, and a deck overlooking the lake. Every possible cookware desired was there. Various games and kid toys are found in closets and in the sunroom. The back yard is expansive, flat, with great views over the lake. My wife and I are retired, we booked 4 nights on the property, our daughter from Baltimore area joined us for 3 nights, and our son, his wife and our 9 month old grand-daughter came up from northern Mass for a night. We also brought our two Border Collies (dogs) who had a great time too! Yes it is a great place for a family and pets. There are three bedrooms, one downstairs off the kitchen, and two upstairs. There is also a quirky loft sleeping area we didn't use. The quirkyness is because to get to it you need to go through what looks like a closet in the "master bedroom". This is the upstairs bedroom with a view looking over the lake. The loft has several mattress and if I remember correctly a bed also. The house has a bath and a half, the half bath is the one upstairs. One needs to be aware that the upstairs bathroom is very small. Other things to be aware of:1) fill up your gas tank before Washington! The nearest real gas is about 17 miles down the road. 2) The local general store is small but very friendly. As you can tell we loved the place!
We had a great family vacation at this lakeside property. A beautiful location. About a 25 min drive to the supermarket so make sure you go before you arrive. The boats and paddle board were fantastic for complimentary use. The neighbors were only there the first weekend and were very friendly. The home had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Lots of room for the kids to play and for all of us to spread out.
This was our second year renting Kevin’s house. We loved everything about it. The house has everything you need and more. The only thing I would recommend is a washer and dryer. We stayed for a week and it would have been nice to have it. But we knew there was not one so we planned accordingly other than that everything was amazing. The girls really loved the paddle board that was new this year!
This pleasant home on the lake was exactly what my group was looking for over Memorial Day Weekend. The property was exactly as pictured and described. We very much appreciated how stocked the home was with everything we could need! Our dogs enjoyed running around the expansive yard and our little toddlers enjoyed the kids' table and bin of fun toys! We used the kayaks, grill, and our girls enjoyed splashing in the water. The only thing that was a surprise was the amount of goose droppings in the yard near the lake (not much the owners can do about that!) but they did provide a scooper which cleared it up just fine. I would definitely return!! Thank you Kevin and family.
We keep coming back to this Lakehouse and our family loves it! It’s become a tradition to come twice a year and turn off the phones and electronics and enjoy our company!
We had a great time spending the long winter weekend here as a group of couples - it was close to the mountain for skiing and not too far from downtown Sunapee and a local state park. Had a lot of space and kitchen was very well-equipped.
Had a wonderful experience at Kevin’s home. Special ski vacation/ reunion for my 70th. Had family pictures taken by pond which turned out to be a beautiful backdrop. We all decided it would be great to come back in summer. The home was fully equipped with needed dishes etc.. Did find one shower for large group challenging but just took a little planning. One thing I did not notice when I booked( my fault)is there is no washer/dryer on premise which might be difficult in summer, although their info shared there is a laundromat nearby. All in all had a terrific time. Thanks Kevin for sharing your home and being so accommodating and accessible for our family!
Kevin hosted my wife and I’s wedding parties at his gorgeous lake house during peak foliage of this fall. Between kayaking on the lake, playing yard games by the fire pit or enjoying each other’s company in the spacious interior, Kevin’s property is everything you need for a short vacation or weekend retreat. He’s timely with responses, courteous and set us up with everything we needed to enjoy the weekend
Great location, very quiet. Owners seemed nice with great communication! We met the neighbors and their dogs who were welcoming!
Property came well equipped with many kitchen items. Also they provided basics like paper towels, toilet paper, soap etc which we have normally had to bring in the past so this was appreciated!
This was a wonderful respite for myself, wife, daughter and her family. The lake house was true to the description and very well appointed! There was plenty of room to spread out. The beds and furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. Our Host (Kevin) communicated well and promptly and was very accommodating!
I would make only one suggestion, in the description of the accommodations, I would add, Guests are not allowed to bring their own water craft. I rented the cottage assuming I could bring my boat, but because of association rules, that was not allowed!
I would rent these accommodations again with out hesitations and with positive expectations!
Thank you Kevin for sharing your corner of the Lake with my family!!!
This property was exactly what we were looking for: right on the water, room for everyone and a place to relax. We kayaked to our hearts content, played yard games and toasted s'mores at the bonfire. The home was well appointed with updated appliances, a quality grill for cookouts and a huge TV for movies. It was a fabulous week!
