Niels was so welcoming and helpful. We loved hanging out in the light-filled, quiet space and cooking meals and playing games. The flat was in such a great location with easy access to so many attractions and resources, and the fabulous nearby transit puts everything else in easy reach. We would love to go back!
This was a lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, shopping, the metro, a beautiful park and the Rosenborg Castle. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!
Loved everything, especially close proximity to a grocery store, walking path along river, great restaurants including fabulous Japanese place, and awesome gluten free bakery with terrific coffee. Host was awesome too!
The apartment was very central and very easy to get around Copenhagen. We felt that not having a wash basin in the toilet was slightly detrimental to the experience but overall we were very pleased and enjoyed our stay immensely.
This is a large apartment ideal for a holiday in Copenhagen. Very comfortable beds, clean, warm, with a well stocked kitchen, very quiet and in a great location to explore the city. You can walk to most places and Østerport and Nørreport stations are not far away.
My husband, adult daughter, and I wanted a vacation rental in a good location in Copenhagen that provided enough room to spread out and rest during our Christmas vacation. This was perfect for us. We also enjoyed being able go cook and enjoy a few meals together. We also enjoyed a day at the art museum directly across the street!
The apartment was perfect for us. Spacious with everything we needed.. And a great location. Many restaurants nearby. The Kings Garden and the Botanical Garden were a short walk away.
Beautiful apartment located in a quiet, central, safe neighborhood, near to many sites and public transportation. The host was lovely and very helpful and accommodating. We were 4 people and there was room for all of us to hang out together and alsoto have private space. We would happily stay there again.
Apartment was fantastic. Plenty of room for me and my husband and 3 adult children. Walking distance to so many things in Copenhagen. There is a beautiful park right across the street as well as another park in the next block. Great location for access to metro and train as well. Highly recommend.
The property has much character, in a lovely and good way. It is beautifully maintained. Coffee and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Metro, so easy to use, a few minutes walk. Beds were comfortable, rooms spotless, and our host was welcoming and most helpful. Right across the street from the Hirschsprung Museum. Parks all around. We wanted to experience Copenhagen and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Our host was always available by email and text both before and during our stay. Thank you to our gracious host.
The flat was charming and comfortabe for my family's accommodations in Copenhagen. The location is a quiet residential area with an art museum and park across the street. It was convenient to 2 metro stations within 10 minute walk. There were many restaurants within walking distance as well. The owner was responsive to all communication. If I ever get a chance to return to Copenhagen, I would return to this property.
This is a wonderful apartment, in a beautiful and convenient neighbourhood, close to major cultural sites, shops, restaurants, and transportation. Host Niels was gracious, attentive, and enormously helpful. The rooms were clean, the sheets soft, and the beds comfy.
There are a few charming quirks that might put off guest looking for all the modern amenities but we found the flat completely suitable and workable. I highly recommend.
Cordial, helpful, and responsive communication with the host (Niels) in the lead-up to, and during, a 6-night stay. with my 27-year old son. Apartment is clean, sunny and spacious, very comfortable beds, and in an ideal location -- quiet street across from art museum and public greenspace, while just a block or so away from an area with very good restaurants, and is easy walking to diverse sights and neighborhoods (and to train station for our day trip up to Louisiana.) We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend.
Lovely apartment. Owner/host greeted us and gave some information about the history of the building and the apartment, as well as some tips on what was nearby.
Gracious host and apartment was in a good location. The only negative was the washer. We texted the owner for instructions but did not get a response, and the washer and use thereof (in the basement) was not clear.
However, there was a laundromat a couple of blocks away that worked our well for us. We would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Copenhagen.
The location is fantastic! Close to restaurants, parks, architectural landmarks! There were public works projects happening during our visit so lots of noise and mud! That was the only strong negative!
The water closet is small!
The kitchen and bathroom are dated but functional.
It is an older building with no elevator.
The laundry room is in the basement but both washers and dryers take a long time and apparently need some sort of wifi connection.
We really enjoyed staying in a building with a long history in a very quiet neighborhood across from a park, with restaurants, museums, castles and the metro/train a short walk away. The apartment was spacious, beds and furniture were comfortable, large windows for natural light and cool air. Kitchen well stocked. We had one issue and Niels took care of it immediately. One friend has serious arthritis in all major joints so stairs, small WC closet and tub were a bit of a challenge for him. But the listing and pictures were accurate and our friend knew this going into it. Overall, loved it! Would stay there again.
