Beautiful, sunny, and brand new vacation rental in the heart of southwestern Colorado's peach and wine country.

Blue Door Farm Vacation Rental LLC offers full accommodations for 1 to 6 guests, with sweeping views of the Grand Valley from the high desert to the Grand Mesa. It is a 15 minute drive to downtown Palisade and Grand Junction, and only 5 minutes to one hour's drive to amazing year-round outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, skiing, agritourism, music festivals and wineries.

Blue Door Farm is a beautiful, fully furnished vacation rental with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, plus living room and kitchen located on 5 acres on Orchard Mesa. We are surrounded by peach and apple orchards, pasture and 360* views of the Grand Mesa, Mount Garfield and the Bookcliffs, and the Colorado National Monument. Guests can walk to 2 wineries and drive to a dozen more within 10 miles between the farm and Palisade, Colorado. Guests can also walk or ride bikes one mile from our driveway to the Colorado Riverfront Trail, which runs several miles east and west along the Colorado River. The Fruit Basket Orchard next door offers boxed and you-pick peaches, cherries, apricots, plums, apples and raspberries in season. It is a short 15-minute drive to downtown Grand Junction, and to downtown Palisade, with many fruit and produce farms along the scenic Fruit and Wine byway. Our property offers peace, privacy and quiet ~ with open pasture, 3 picnic tables plus outdoor chairs in different locations, a scenic pond, a fire pit plus firewood, and room to park your trailers and RVs (no hook-ups). The Vacation Rental is fully furnished, and the kitchen is completely stocked with dishes, silverware, refrigerator, pots and pans, microwave, coffee pot, an induction cooktop, electric skillet, countertop oven, crockpot, blender, and dishwasher.
The vacation rental and the owner's home share the same roof but have separate front doors, private living space, and no connected inside areas.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

My close friend and I had a girl's get-away and enjoyed the wineries, good conversation, and this wonderful house! Beautiful guest house -- sparkling clean and fully furnished, in a peaceful country setting. Very comfortable beds, bright & sunny windows, plus many complimentary details such as whole bean coffee, nightlights, two patios with tables and chairs, extra toiletries and blankets, a welcome notebook and local maps. Visiting our som at CMU

Blue Door Farm vrbo was absolutely perfect for our visit. It was 15min to CMU campus, it was quiet and surrounded by orchards and farm land. For us it felt right at home. The property mgr was extremely nice and very helpful. It was very clean, kitchen and bath was well stocked, parking was efficient, and beds were very comfy. We will definitely be staying there if it’s available for our future visits to visit our son.

Wonderful House!

The Blue Door Farm is a really wonderful place. We only stayed for one night because we were doing the Tour of the Moon in Grand Junction, but we wished we could stay longer (and probably will next year!). The house is perfectly sized for 4 people, super neat, well put together, and possibly the most peaceful VRBO I've ever stayed in. The cool night breezes and sounds of crickets were ideal for sleeping. We're definitely coming back next year, given the opportunity!

Girls weekend

Walking into the house was so refreshing. I booked this house for a girls get a way weekend to go wine tasting and this was the perfect location to all the vineyards. The host responded to everything we needed immediately which was great not waiting around for an answer. Having the outdoor space to enjoy the views was the best part. We definitely will be booking this again and I will be recommending it to everyone I know.

We had a lovely stay at Blue Door Farm Vacation Rental. We were visiting family in the area and needed somewhere close to stay. We didn't spend a lot of time there, but it was a welcome place to come home in the evening to wind down and sleep. The beds were excellent. The home was very clean. We were traveling with two small kids and it was great to have a pack 'n play and an extra room. The location is great--we spent a morning at the Colorado National Monument and it was a quick drive. We also visited several local wineries and it is quite close. If you are looking to explore the Grand Junction/Palisade area, this is the place to stay! We hope to return soon!

This place was LOVELY. Super charming, well stocked, great location, and very accommodating for young kids (we stayed with our 2, 4, & 6 year old). It was just so welcoming! It felt like staying at a friends guest house! For us it was the little things that made the difference: the light blocking curtains, the toys and games for the kids, the medicine cabinet stocked with basic toiletries in case we forgot anything, a stool in the bathroom, the bedside USP ports, and the spices in the cupboard! Things were labeled throughout the kitchen so there was no question of what was “okay” or which switch went to which lights or appliance, etc. … The beds were comfortable and the pillows were plush! To top it off: The fruit orchard next door was a special bonus and made for a perfect morning picking peaches and grapes with the kids. The orchard owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming as well! All around 5 stars and would recommend to anyone visiting the Palisade area!

Perfect Rest Stop Between Destinations

Hubby and I on a road trip from Denver to Calif. The Blue Door was a perfect retreat from the road. The cottage was impeccably clean; thoughtful detail throughout the quaint home.
