We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking in the kitchen, and hanging out on the deck. However, the downstairs could use an update. The twin bed room felt like a basement, had a funky smell, and the mattresses could stand to be replaced. The pull out couch could also be upgraded. Whoever has to stay downstairs isn’t getting the same enjoyment as those in the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms.
This was the perfect spot to use as a base in Asheville to visit family on Thanksgiving. Very close to downtown but excluded enough to enjoy the mountain retreat. Home has everything you could want. Communications with host worked out very well.
The place was great. We stayed here for a cycling trip. It was a great starting point for climbing Mt. Mitchell and a good base for riding in the Pisgah and Dupont areas. Super clean and plenty of room for us and our gear.
The house was beautiful and comfortable, perfect for our group of 6. Lots of space for gathering together. We enjoyed the hot tub and seeing the bear down the road. Hosts were very responsive when I asked questions.
We enjoyed the cabin as a getaway for a group of girlfriends! Loved that the cabin is still close enough to downtown that it was no trouble getting an Uber or Lyft.
Family from 3 different states came to Asheville for the first time. Not knowing anything about the area..was pleasantly surprised with the location. House was very comfy and roomy. Loved the outdoor area. The open living area was perfect for family dinners and lots of card playing! Would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our first trip to Asheville and our rental added to that enjoyment. The home was very spacious allowing all three couples to have their own space and bathrooms but also providing areas to enjoy each others company. Enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning and the hot tub every evening. Location was also perfect, short drive to downtown.
We loved this property. Very close to town. Plenty of room to move around. We joined another family here and spent most of our time playing games at the large table and sitting outside in the balcony. We even saw a bear walk up the driveway (from the safety of the house).
This was a girls getaway and reconnect weekend with 8 friends we rarely see but have known for over 30 years!! We all had Biltmore at Christmas on our list and we had an amazing time. Ms. Jodi was absolutely wonderful in answering all questions and responded right away. The house and location were fantastic. There is plenty of parking for 4 cars and plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend this place!!
Overall, the house and location was great! With somethings that could be improved, we understood with the recent storm how difficult it can be. We had a friend reunion and the house was suitable and had enough space for 5 of us. The location was exactly 10-15 mins from downtown so getting an Uber or Uber eats was easy and grocery store was 5 miles up the road. The house was older but was kept up with and provided everything we needed to cook, relax, etc. The owners daughter was available anytime we needed her and very helpful!
Wow - loved this wooded property with convenient access to all that Asheville has to offer. The host was responsive to questions and loved they layout for our six person family vacation. We would certainly stay here again if ever back in the area.
The property was wonderful and just as listed. It was extremely close to downtown, yet very secluded and private. We will definitely revisit in the future.
It was very easy to book, check-in, and enjoy. Definitely would stay again at if back in the area. Not a great spot for people who can’t do stairs as a warning for those with mobility issues, but quick to Asheville. Food delivery works there or you can slip into downtown, arts district, etc, with ease.
This home was perfect for our annual ladies’ trip. It was very clean upon arrival, beautiful views, and hot tub was ready to go. I’d only recommend adding more bath towels and a lamp or two in the main upstairs living room.
This was overall a great find. 10 min from downtown Asheville but in a quiet wooded beautiful location. Owner responded promptly to small issue with sink. Only complaint is the downstairs twin bedroom beds were not very comfortable. Fine for young children I imagine. Same for sleeper couch downstairs.
It was such a fun get-a-way for my grade school friend and I for over 50 years and some of my family joined in! The hot tub was a great gathering spot. The home was tucked away in the mountains of Asheville.
We came up for a guys trip for 5 days. The place was very nice a s close to downtown. Would definitely stay there again.
