Nice location

Condo was fine. Great location. The kitchen could really use some cooking basics like spices, oil, coffee filters.

Mahalo for your feedback Ashley! We would love to keep a full kitchen's stock of spices and cooking oil, but unfortunately the damp environment means that they spoil faster, so we prefer to let guests bring their own. We'll definitely replenish the stock of coffee filters, though. Thanks for the heads up! We hope we'll be able to welcome you back soon, and we're wishing you safe travels in 2025 :-) Aloha

Great stay

Nice and comfortable condo in a beautiful and quiet area. Ocean and Mountain View’s. Grounds are gorgeous. No a/c but able to stay comfortable. Good access to wind/breeze due to the condo being an end unit. Would stay here again. Very nice.

Alii Kai II

We stayed in a nice 2-bedroom unit with a view of the ocean. The only issue we had was that the cable was connected to a light switch, but the property management folks helped us fix that. Overall, it was a good stay.

Pleasant Stay

Had a very relaxing and pkeasant stay at Alii Kai 2. Comfortable and roomy condo with nice view of ocean and mountains. There were a few hiccups, like the dishwasher not working but the property management quickly responded. I would recommend .both the property and properties managed by Kauai Kahuna.

Beautiful Condo and Property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was beautiful with a view of the ocean, a great pool, hottub and bbq's 2 minutes away. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for cooking. Was a great experience for two couples. Would highly recommend a car as not much is within walking distance but a peaceful, beautiful location to relax and cute towns/amazing beaches within a short drive.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our location and our view... Being over the pool had his pros and cons though in the later evenings... For the price we paid, we thought the kitchen could use a tiny upgrade for sure, but other than that we were very happy. We were easy guests doing our own laundry and treating the property like our own home... we donated three brand new boogie boards to the closet for the next many guests to use and we hope the owners can enjoy them as well. We would definitely stay again. Mahalo!

Has the basics and a good view

As other reviews stated, this unit is quite dated and while we did have everything we needed, it did feel quite old. The pool pictured in the photos is directly beneath the unit but you will not have access to it. The pool for this unit is not far but it’s not right below, which is puzzling! We appreciated the hospitality, ease of booking and did enjoy the views.

Mahalo for taking the time to leave your feedback, Alison! It is a bit odd that the Ali'i Kai II complex pool is not the one directly next to the condo, but it's just one of those quirks! We hope you enjoyed your time on Kaua'i, and we would be happy to welcome you back for your next vacation :-) Aloha and safe travels.

Pretty nice

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall ok. The people upstairs threw all their junk on the porch in front of our door. The bath in the guest bath’s water turns hot and cold and makes it hard to shower.

We're totally mystified what you're talking about throwing junk on the front porch. There isn't anybody upstairs, this is top floor. Sorry we don't understand and maybe you reviewed the wrong unit?

Good value

The condo is generally clean and comfortable and has a lovely view of the ocean. The pool and spa are also nice and very well maintained. The only issues were- #1 guest shower had issues with water temperature - had to crank up the cold and barely use hot water to get to a good temperature. #2 dishwasher is clearly on its las legs and wouldn't close on the last day. #3 Sliding doors wouldn't close without lifting it off the track first.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Princeville & the location of the condo. The condo itself could definitely use a facelift. There’s a broken cabinet door in the master bath as well as under the kitchen sink.Communication was very good all week with any questions we had.

The unit was ok. A little worn. Very clean. Dishwasher and door under sink needs a fix. NO AIR CONDITIONING. In the morning it’s humid. Ok for sleeping temperature. If you want to sleep late this is not the place. No AC means windows opens. chickens/roosters crowing at dawn!!! Pool shown in picture is not the pool for this unit. The pool for this unit is much nicer. Views are beautiful!
