Super super view from lanai, Maui Eldorado is tops for staying in a lesser sort of packed out hotel and a more quiet part of the beach. We love Maui Eldorado for being that and the folks running Maui Eldorado are excellent and friendly. We had a hiccup with arriving and not having our names registered to be staying there but the staff there jumped in and solved it with the owner who was super great. I love Maui Eldorado resort and will continue to go back there. This room was also excellent for a studio and close to the front desk and where you get rides to the beach cabana (or walking there is easy too). Can't say enough about it.

The only problem I see is that it’s a hike up quite a lot of stairs if you struggle with knee or leg problems. Check in was simple and quick. Walter at the cabana is wonderful. Chantal at the front desk is a gem! All the workers are great!

Clean, nice, too far from the beach.

This studio was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is a murphy bed that opens up into the living space. The bed was comfortable. The furniture was clean and the studio was well equiped. They could use a few more pans and cooking untesils. There were knives and a spatchala, but there was only one wooden spoon for cooking. Our biggest disapointment was the view. We thought we were going to have a nice up close view of the ocean. This condo is about a 1/2 mile from the ocean, and the view is looking over the roof tops of all the condos in front of you. We loved the Thursday evening Mai Tai happy hour in the lobby.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed may times at Maui El Dorado and have always had great condos. However, this one (K217) was probably the the worst of them. It had a small murphy bed barely big enough for two. The patio furniture needed pads--we used our pillows. There was no place to plug anything in and no bedside lamps. This was remedied eventually. Little things--the toaster toasted the bottom half of the bread only and the coffee pot light didn't work so you didn't know if it was on. The deck shade broke and had to be fixed and the dishwasher didn't run at first. We couldn't find detergent but when we went through the closet, we found 3 half-used boxes/envelopes of soap. Maybe keep those where they can be seen. It's often the little things that make a stay pleasant. The view was incredible and Maui El Dorado staff was great.
