*** THE GITE DU CLADAN
is a charming stone building on the heights of the village of Thorn (altitude 950m), a house of 110 m² with private parking for 2 cars, locked room at the parking level (for skis, mountain bikes, strollers, safety boxes roof, motorbikes ...), south-facing terrace with view (garden furniture, parasols, pizza oven, gas plancha, barbecue, Provence herbs):
- LARGE LIVING ROOM (40m²): living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen (traditional oven, 4-burner gas hob, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi connection throughout the house, DVD player, mini stereo, adjoining south-facing terrace with view),
- TOP BEDROOM (18m²): 2 single beds, 2 x (90x190) which can be pushed together and fixed, flat screen TV, library,
- BATHROOM adjoining the upstairs bedroom, with wc, sink and large shower,
- BEDROOM N ° 1 (21m²): 2 large single beds, 2 x (120x190), library,
- BEDROOM N ° 2 (21m²): 1 double bed, 140x190, with fireplace, flat screen TV, desk,

Perfect house at perfect location

This house was a real joy for us. The owner of the house gave us a warm welcome. He showed us everything in the antique furnitured house. The well equiped kitchen, beautifull sleeping rooms and a nice terrace with a view over the village and the mountains. A pizza oven and a barbeque were waiting to be used by us. We can strongly recommend future travellers, who love places in a nice and quiet setting in a nice area surounded by mountans, to rent this house.

We stayed at Gite du Ciaran

The property was beautiful, plenty of space and the sun terrace was really private and sunny. Denis was a fabulous host and nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding area had plenty to offer and the scenery was awesome. Would highly recommend especially if you like to get away from it all but near enough to Serres with its bars, cafes, supermarket and the historic town is a must see. Thank you Denis

Gîte très spacieux et très bien équipé-propriétaire sympathique et très chaleureux- documentation très complète sur la région mise à disposition par le propriétaire-jolie terrasse avec barbecue, plancha et four à pizza qui sont une surprise pour un gîte- c'était certainement pas notre dernier séjour dans ce gîte-un atout est que les chiens sont les biens venus

A charming cottage located in stunning countryside

This is a charming cottage with fabulous views across the surrounding beautiful countryside of the Hautes Alpes region. This cottage is for people who like a 'get away from it all' holiday and enjoy walking and other outdoor sports. There are also plenty of nearby places - lakes and rivers - where you can swim or laze by the water. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything you need and Denis, the host, could not be more helpful. The cottage is dog friendly and if you are coming from the UK with a dog, ask Denis to book you an appointment with the local vet to get the worm treatment you need for the pet passport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

gite merveilleux

je suis très satisfait de mon séjour dans ce jolie gite surtout qu'on était bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui est très sympa , il est très bien équipés , une belle terrasse qui donne une belle vue sur la montagne et un silence magnifique. Il est bien situé au pied de la montagne pour les randonnées (pas besoin de prendre la voiture) , il y a de quoi passer de belle journée en promenade je le recommande par des proches et je risque de revenir sur ces lieux car passer que deux jours.

Jolie maison située dans un petit village face à la montagne. Vue superbe de la terrasse: un vrai bonheur pour prendre son petit déjeuner le matin! L'hôte est très accueillant, disponible, et de très bon conseils sur les activités et les restaurants du coin.

Magnifique, spacieux, ultra-équipé

Pour nous, vacances = farniente + barbecue. C'est pour cela que nous avons choisi ce gîte, et je dois dire que nous avons été comblés ! Entre la terrasse spacieuse, le coin grillade suréquipé, la vue fantastique et un silence que seul vient perturber le chant des oiseaux, ce séjour a été au-delà de tout ce que nous espérions ! Un grand merci à Denis et Hélène pour la chaleur de leur accueil et pour leur magnifique gîte. A l'année prochaine !
