Your Safety is our #1 Concern! My 2nd Home, LLC was founded by a previous General Manager of a Wyndham Resort. She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

Very comfortable.
Hole in wall from front door. Food left from previous tenant. Bathtub needs friction strips and wall handles to prevent slipping. Most hotels have them.

Great location
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was close to 2 pools with hot tubs. I could watch young people playing games from my patio. It was convenient to everything. I thought it needed a barbecue and an umbrella. The patio got quite hot at supper time. I would stay again if the price remains reasonable. Didn’t really her from the manager but I had no concerns. Love the property
The amenities were fun. Kids had fun in the pools and on pickle ball court. Close to bike trails and parks. Nice to have space to cook and have meals with family. Would be nice if pots and pans were little more updated for cooking and maybe few more bottles of shampoo/soap were included, but we had fun. Thank you.

Las Palmas is a great place to stay for the HWSG. It is in a good location. Not to far from any of th
The maid was still cleaning the apartment at 5pm on our arrival so we went to grocery store and she was just finishing up. Not a big deal, but check in was supposed to be 4pm. Had trouble with the tv getting cable but got help from host on 2nd day to resolve that problem. Might think about leaving some instructions to help guests with the 3 remotes. Might think about getting some smaller bowls and sharper knives. But overall was a great stay. Hope to be back again. Thanks, Tim Sobey

Never rent property from “2nd homes for you”
They switched our rental hours before our arrival to a unit almost half the size. They refused to refund us and they lied about why. They told us there was water issues in the unit we rented so they switched us and the whole time the much larger unit we reserved and paid for WAS occupied by another renter. Other than answer our first call and refusing to refund us or put us in a comparable unit, they did not answer our calls or return our calls. We rented for 7 days and was stuck in a unit that literally had no air conditioning other than a portable A/C that could not vent the hot air it produced unless the hose was put through an open window or door. During the day the coolest the unit would get was 80 degrees. This unit was terrible. There were more problems than this but but the fact that they lied to us about a unit we rented 3 1/2 months before and refused to refund us is THEFT. They offered to rent us a much more expensive unit if we paid them. What a rip off. These people are thieves. I found google reviews about “2nd homes for you” where they stole from other people too. We will be contacting vrbo as well to see what we can do. Vrbo has always been a great company but we’ve never had a problem before so I guess we’ll see how it goes.

Great stay!
We enjoyed staying here, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The experience was easy from start to finish. We arrived to a cooled 70 degree condo—which was a welcomed relieve from the 111 degree weather. The condo was in a terrific location on the end of a row of units. It had a nice comfortable bed for 2 adults, and two couch beds that were perfect for small kids, (with plenty of comfortable bedding). The grounds were clean and well maintained. The pools were terrific—the kids loved the waterfall pool and slide pool. The condo had everything we needed and was well stocked with necessities. The only thing I would suggest adding is maybe a nice big frying pan in the kitchen (there were two very small fry pans). We like to cook and appreciated the kitchen area for meal prep. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone traveling to the St George area.

Family Vacation
We always like going to Las Palmas. This was our first time staying at this condo. There were ants all throughout the kitchen that drove us nuts but other then the ants we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the unit, minus the ants, was very clean and cozy. The tv did have like 3 or 4 remotes that were confusing. Hopefully they will upgrade to a universal remote cause it was a but much. The sofa beds were great for my kids. Erin was quick to message me the details for our stay and we had no issues with checkin. I would recommend this unit to any family. Its cozy, right by the pool, huge bathroom, opens up to large grass area that my kids loved kicking the soccer ball and riding their scooters along the path next to the condo. The location was perfect! I would definitely say its by far the best location of all the ones we have stayed. We loved not having to drive to the pool. We plan to come back. Thanks for having us. We made many wonderful memories as a family.

Great resort, bad unit
We stayed here for three nights with our family (2 adults, 7, 5 and 18 month old children) and thoroughly enjoyed the resort but didn’t love the condo. Let’s start with negatives first: check in was at 4 and they were not finished cleaning and we could not enter until 5. And the unit was still dirty. Ants in the kitchen non stop. Bare feet black from the floor. The condo amenities were also bare minimum. There wasn’t even a broom. Positives: The activities for families are fabulous! Parks and pools everywhere! The kids were in paradise! It is also close to our favorite mountain bike trails. You can ride to Zen on your bike from your door and the kid favorite Bear Claw Poppy was 10 min away. We will stay at this location again but will definitely steer clear of this unit. Not worth the gross factor.

Great little condo
The property was very clean. The check-in process was super simple. The furniture in the front room was a bit outdated and the couches were worn out. They worked for our little ones but they weren't very comfortable. The kitchen wasn't very well stocked. There was no salt that we could find, and only small frying pans. It ended up working out, but just keep in mind that you'll probably want to bring extra condiments (oil, salt and pepper) Overall it was a great stay and the property was clean which is the most important to me.

The property was very nice however the tub is too high and there are no safety bars to hold on to. Also a toaster oven is better than a lone toaster you can do more with that

Could use updating
I stayed at this property for 3 months and liked the location I found it was not as nice as I had expected. Had plumbing problems, lighting , sofa very uncomfortable, and provided kitchen equipment was of poor quality. An investment in overall appearance would also have been nice..

Here at My 2nd Home LLC, Vacation Rental management, we understand what makes a vacation home right for our guests. We make it our business to find vacation rentals of the highest standard that go above and beyond our guest's expectations. By providing the finest in vacation rentals we can ensure that our guest's vacation is a success no matter which property they decide to stay in.

With over 18 years of personal Wyndham management, including general management, experience, and over 100 years with My 2nd Home's management team in place, we know what it takes to run a successful vacation rental management company. Providing quality homes, cleaned by quality employees, and providing quality customer and concierge service is what sets us apart from the rest. Whether you are renting with us or putting your rental in our hands as an owner you can be sure that you are working with the best.

Ty and Pam owned timeshares, and Pam was the general manager of a Wyndham timeshare resort while Ty owned and operated multiple quick lubes. But years ago they realized their timeshare quarterly fees just kept growing while usage of their timeshare kept shrinking due to the fact that the timeshares were rarely located in places they needed to travel for family events, etc. They hated using hotels/motels after being spoiled with the comforts of a timeshare, so they searched for a better option and started using marketing sites such as Airbnb and VRBO to rent vacation rentals. They soon discovered they could have the quality of a time share in locations wherever they needed, and not have to pay quarterly dues! So they sold their time shares, and over time, when it was time for Pam to take on a more regional role within the resort she managed, she decided she did not want to live the next several years in airports and cities nationwide with grandchildren close to home, so she and Ty decided to start their own business managing vacation rentals.

With Pam's experience in hospitality, the business has grown in leaps and bounds. They soon discovered that most vacation rental management companies come from a real estate background and have no knowledge of what it takes to operate a hospitality business. Pam knows that regulations to the vacation rental business are coming soon, so she insists on being ahead of the curve. This is why they have contracted with ALSCO for professionally leased and laundered linens. While most vacation rentals rely on their in-home washers and dryers, Pam knows from her training that only commercial washers reach temperatures hot enough to kill bacterias which can be brought into a rental home from guests traveling from anywhere in the world. Ty and Pam also discovered other management companies as well as personally managed properties allow various cleaning chemicals to be stored under cupboards or closets where children can easily reach, leaving the property owner with an unecessary liability. As they began to manage homes which had previously been managed by other nightly rental management companies, they realized quickly that very few management companies had preventative maintenance programs in place, which Pam knows the importance of, to ensure the best condition of the property. Pam says, "Each property must have a baseline of cleanliness that must be brought back to after each guest stay. Straying from that baseline can cause long-term issues with a home that is unacceptable in hospitality standards and expectations."

Another concern Pam had was noticing that property management companies, as well as private managed homes, used either keys, (which can be easily copied) were stored in lock boxes with combinations which were rarely, if ever, changed. Or they were using inexpensive keypads which were also rarely changed. She knew there needed to be a better way to secure a property. So with a little investigation they discovered that WiFi locks were the latest technological advancement in the vacation rental industry and she insisted we needed to provide these locks for the properties we managed so we could ensure a new code for each guest which would activate at their arrival date at a specific time, and deactivate on the day of their departure, also at a specific time. Each vendor would also receive their own expireable code so that nobody could enter the property without her knowledge, thereby securing the property better than a key or cheap keypad lock ever could.

Pam's wealth of knowledge she has from her professional training, traveling to Seattle, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, and countless more places over her years as a manager for Wyndham is priceless for property owners and guests alike. She brings a unique set of skills to the industry of vacation rentals which can be a great asset for a property owner wanting the best results from their 2nd Home.
