Balsh Hideaway is a custom three bedroom home in Fraser that welcomes guests with a stylish layout split over two levels in an excellent location. Upon entering Balsh Hideaway, your heart will be warmed from the ground up by the professional decor, hotel-style luxury linens, and radiant in-floor heating. Under an open floor plan, the living room is set up surrounding a 65" flat-screen TV and gas stone fireplace. Two sofas and a lounge chair invite you to relax after a day of play while enjoying your favorite movie.
Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining table that seats up to seven. The fully loaded kitchen greets you with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a gas stove and dual oven. This kitchen is perfect for preparing any meal, from a quick breakfast to a holiday feast. If flame broiled is your fancy, step out onto the deck, take in the views of the surrounding mountains, and fire up the gas grill. When dinner is finished, polish off a great day in Winter Park by slipping into the seven-person hot tub under the covered portion of the deck.
When it's time to rest easy, choose from one of three bedrooms. The Primary King Suite is outfitted with hotel-style luxury linens, 42" flat screen TV with cable and Roku, and an ensuite bathroom with dual sink and walk-in shower. Head downstairs and find the King bedroom, with large King bed, 42" flat screen with Roku, and a shared full bathroom. The bunk room is perfect for the kiddos with two Twin/Twin bunks, one with trundle bed, and bean bag chairs. This home is perfectly built for families to spread out and come together after a fun day on the slopes and trails of Winter Park.
Sleeping Arrangements: King Primary Suite on upper level, King bedroom on lower level, Twin/Twin bunks + Twin trundle in the bunk room. Sleeps up to ten guests. The host was very helpful and text me frequently to check in case of any needs. Very close to all activity's and public transportation if you need them. Just a note, It is close to emergency room when you are in need of it. This was my first Vrbo rental and if they are all like this they are worth the expense. The host even checked up with us after we returned home to see if we were okay after the accident on the ski mountain.

The property was better than advertised. The kids were able to sled in the back and build snowmen in the front of the house. The place was spotless and the owners accommodating on a moments notice. If I was to complain about anything, it is that we didn't book a longer stay.

Good location in updated home
Our family of seven enjoyed an excellent Presidents’ Day weekend ski trip in this wonderful home. Plenty of space for relaxing after skiing. Kids greatly enjoyed the hot tub. Very comfortable beds. Functional kitchen and all of the necessary cooking instruments to prepare meals at home.

Cozy Hideaway
Balsh Hideaway was a quiet and cozy home which comfortably slept our group of 5 adults and 3 kids and could easily accommodate 2 more if needed with a sofa-bed in the living room. The property had everything we needed and was very close to town for our snow-shoeing adventure, tubing, skiing and of course those Starbucks runs if required. We had an issue with the hot tub but the property manager came promptly to address it so that we could enjoy while we were resident. The only "watch-out" but by no means a negative is that the photos online make the place look much larger than it really is (but isn't this true for all real estate). All in all, we were very happy with Balsh Hideaway.
This house was perfect for our mother/daughter weekend in the mountains. The hot tub on the deck was a nice plus.
The house was as pictured and expected. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood is nice also. Would definitely stay here again

Great house, it was as clean and nicely furnished as the pictures for the listing. Hot tub was an awesome way to relax in the evenings. House is great for family’s with loud kids since the master bedroom is separated from the other 2 bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Fraser/Winter Park.

We had a wonderful stay at Balsh Hideaway. Everything was clean, convenient and comfortable. We enjoyed the location, in a walkable neighborhood, sledding down the side hill with available sleds. Thank you! We might like to make a suggestion- the chairs at the table were very loud and heavy creating loud screeching noises on the floor, thus a sleeping child was awakened. Perhaps a change out to more comfortable chairs, (flat wooden seats) or to add felted feet to the chairs to reduce the scrapping noises. Thank you. We look forward to returning to WinterPark again next year.

You Saved our Vacation
We recently stayed at Balsh Hideaway for a family ski vacation. We originally booked a different unit with another lodging company, A mistake will we will not make again! When we arrived at the place we originally booked with the other company, it was filthy to the extent we were not comfortable staying there with our children. After a lack of response from that company, we reached out immediately to Winter Park Lodging Company as we had many enjoyable experiences with them in the past. Within 45 minutes, they had found us a place, Balsh Hideaway, and had made sure it was ready to go! We felt such a relief knowing that our family vacation wasn't going to be ruined due to substandard service of the previous lodging company. The unit itself was spacious, clean, comfortable and conveniently located yet somehow managing to be a bit secluded which was nice. It worked well for our family and our dog and we are staying again there in a week when we come back up. We can't thank Winter Park Lodging Company enough for your five star service and commitment to the customer experience. You truly did save our vacation!

Couldn't have asked for better

Great home
The hot water didn't work at first but was fixed promptly. Also could have used garage door openers. Other than that our stay was perfect. We loved the house and the service was prompt when we needed it. We will come back
