Perfect little cabin in a perfect mountain setting. Welcoming hosts with lots of space and ranch atmosphere. Couldn't have been better. The artwork by Dori is exceptional!

We really enjoyed you both and are thrilled you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking such great care of our cabin! Till next time, have a wonderful summer.
Absolutely beautiful place with awesome views. If your looking for a getaway from the city noise and traffic this is it. Wonderful cabin with all the amenities you could ask for, including fast internet service. Randy and Dori are great hosts. Their dog Bud was also a very friendly host to our dog Summer allowing her to explore freely. That was such a great treat as well.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We sure enjoyed the three of you. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
Not only was it a nice cabin but there was a lot that the property had to offer too. My daughter got to feed horses, chickens and turkeys. There’s two ponds and a nice herd of cattle to pass through on your way. We really enjoyed the endless supply of wood for our camp fires. This was a fantastic place to escape the city life!
Perfect home base for exploring a great area of Montana. Clean and comfortable, sweet hosts, and Bud the dog checks in on you for an extra bonus! Loved this place!
We had a fantastic time. It was so quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were wonderful and very responsive to our needs. We would definitely stay there again.
Randy & Dori’s cabin was a great place to rest & relax. Randy & Dori are very accommodating & willing to help you with anything you need. Very clean and so unique. Nice place to walk and also hang out by the fishing ponds. We would definitely go back. Very quiet to enjoy your beautiful surroundings & watching the wildlife.
This is a beautiful place to stay. It is a blessing that Dory and Randy share their property with folks who don't live in tranquility. Bud, their dog, is the best dog known to man! Their horses also have a peaceful disposition. I was blown away with the quietness and the abundance of wildlife. It kept my dream alive to someday own a place deep in the woods. Dory is an amazing artist. Her artwork is displayed on the walls of the cabin. I was very fortunate and blessed to have lived there for four days with my three dogs and woman! THANKS!
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at The Ol' Bock Place. My sister and I along with my dog stayed for 3 nights before our week long tent camping adventure in Glacier National Park. The Bock's made us feel right at home. The cabin was cozy and the description of the cabin was just as mentioned and more. The decor and the attention to detail of the cabin made it just that more enjoyable and gave that home feel. We enjoyed the views from the kitchen and living room windows out onto the ranch. Especially enjoyed the added bonus of waking up every morning and visiting with the horse staying near the cabin. My dog and I took advantage of exploring the property every moment we had during our stay and having the luxury of the ranch dogs to accompany us on our adventures. Bud, Mick and my dog became best pals real quick. The Bock's ranch is gorgeous and the descriptions do not do it justice. During our stay we relaxed, enjoyed the comforts of the cabin, and soaked in the beauty and quietness of the ranch. We also did a day trip to visit Kootenai Falls and the Suspension bridge as well as visit the Ross Creek Cedars which were both well worth the trip. We weren't ready to leave, especially my dog! We loved our stay and we would definitely stay here again.
We had a terrific time in the Libby, MT area. The cabin is very rustic, but quite comfortable. Dori & Randy are excellent hosts and ensured we had everything we needed, including directions for some of our day trips. We stayed two weeks and had plenty of scenery & wildlife to enjoy. The wild turkey & deer are plentiful. We also enjoyed the horses, eagles & sandhill cranes. We can strongly recommend the Ol' Bock Place.
Randy and Dori are wonderful!! If you want to get away from it all this is the place. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of heaven. ❤ Definitely will be back.
I can’t say enough great things about our stay :) it was clean, cozy, Dori and Randy were very friendly and they are pet friendly which makes it even better! I can’t wait to go back with my horses. It was a nice, peaceful, little weekend get away.
Very nice folks. They took good care of our cabin and are welcome back anytime.
About the host
Hosted by Dori Bock
We are Randy and Dori Bock, with our Anatolian, Bud. With our love of horses, cattle, and ranching as a way of life, we came up to this country in 1996 from Wyoming. We've been managing a cattle & guest ranch since the start of our time in Montana. Purchasing our place in 2000, which is adjacent to the guest ranch we've been working with since 1999, we are ever dabbling in its improvements. We now have the two guest cabins and another newly renovated next to our fishing ponds.
We know this country well and whether you are riding, hiking, driving, boating, back country skiing, we can point you to some spectacular remote places accessible from our place. We'd love to share it with you!
Why they chose this property
We are remote, no traffic noise here. Great place to get away from it all and relax. Close to many uncrowded lakes and rivers for fly fishing, and water sports like paddle boarding, and kayaking. Photography opportunities, mountain biking, and winter sports like snow shoeing, and back country skiing. This location is prime for horseback riding.
What makes this property unique
We love how accessible this country is by horseback. Abandoned old logging roads, and open country allow you to see beautiful open meadows, and endless expanses of remote mountain ranges. The spectacular Cabinet Wilderness Area can be seen from our valley's mountain sides and tops.
