The Carriage House Inn’s, Farm House, located on the National Historic registered Shaver House estate is a favorite among guests for its cozy and private garden setting. Follow the meandering stone path through the garden, past the fountain and enjoy the sounds of nature. Guests will enjoy their own private sitting area overlooking the acre of the historic estate. . Amenities include: outside dining area, hammock and access to the stone cobbled fire pit (marshmallow roast and bon-fire set-up available upon request, fee to be applied).
Room features a microwave, mini-fridge, satelite television, cofffe maker and WiFi.
Walking distance from the beautiful Janssen Park and downtown historic Mena; Spas, Boutiques, Antique Stores, Art Gallery, Theatre, Old Fashion Ice Cream Shop, Coffee Shops and Restaurants. Less than a mile to the beginning of the beautiful Talimena Drive and National Forest recreational trails.

Cozy cottage nestled behind a beautiful historic mansion. Gardens are are lovingly cared for. Room is tidy and welcoming. Fresh cookies were a welcome site after long roadtrip. Drove into town —only about 2 miles— for dinner at a nice Italian restaurant.

Always a peaceful stay!

Stay on the property often for work trips and would love to go back with my family or group of girlfriends to really enjoy the area. This rental and the other VRBO's on the Carriage House property is great! Always clean and easily accessible. Will always stay here and recommend!
