Are you looking for some quality family time? Or perhaps a vacation home to enjoy with friends? This is the home for you. This home was built to make memories! Located on Palmer Lake in Colon, Michigan, the Magic Capital of the World, this home offers everything you need for a fun family/friend get away. Located on Palmer Lake, a 444 acre all sports lake in St. Joseph County Michigan, which offers swimming, boating, fishing, tubing, jet skiing, water skiing, ice fishing, and many other water activities. There is 100 feet of lakefront, with a nice sandy bottom for swimming. The large lakefront yard offers opportunities for lots of fun family activities: bags, volleyball, bonfires, or just sitting and enjoying the lake view.

Your vacation home has an open kitchen/family room concept, with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need make amazing meals, a large table that seats 12 with lots of room for everyone to enjoy meal times. There’s a large porch and enclosed sun room, with full size futon, offering gathering areas for games, late night conversations, or simply a place to enjoy the beautiful sunset. In addition to the large deck there are two patios, one offering seating for 10. The other has 4 Adirondack chairs for enjoying a later afternoon cocktail. There are 6 bedrooms, with one of the bedrooms housing 4 large bunk beds, a real winner for kids and cousins! There are 2 refrigerators and a freezer, grocery stores and shopping nearby. House is only 1 hour from Notre Dame, which makes it a nice option for game days!

If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a place to make lifelong memories, this is the home for you!

*Please note that per township requirements the house is limited to 14 people staying and being on the property. We are also limited to 5 vehicles being parked on the premisies.

The property was perfect for our family get together. Everyone, from age 74 to 13, enjoyed their time on the lake with boating, fishing, swimming, tubing, and skiing.The house has so many great areas to sit, inside and outside, whether you want to sit with a group or find a place to just relax and read. We loved sitting on the covered patio enjoying the view of the lake, playing games, and just visiting. The kitchen is well stocked with all the appliances, plates, cups, silverware, and more. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. We have rented many homes over the years and this house is one of the best.

Another excellent stay at this gorgeous house on Palmer Lake. Love the huge kitchen, giant kitchen table and couch, the fire pit, plentiful outdoor seating and easy lake access. Some of the checkout info is a bit out of date, but the hosts were very responsive throughout the week to our questions and very minor issues. Can't wait to plan another stay here!

Great house

Absolutely huge and beautiful house. Very clean when we got there, and the humongous kitchen came in handy. Perfect views of the lake and plenty of things to do and space to spread out in. We will definitely return for our next large friend group vacation!

Great Palmer Lake Vacation

Large lakefront home with bedrooms, kitchen with table and chairs, family room, and outdoor and indoor porches to comfortably accommodate my family group of 12. And Palmer Lake is large enough with low boat traffic for tubing, swimming, and kayaking.

Friends Lakehouse Getaway

The home was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. There are plenty of chairs and beds for all of the guests to use. The lake view is beautiful. We rented the pontoon boat, spent time swimming and lounging in rafts. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great Lake Stay

Perfect for large family. Spacious porches for enjoying the evenings playing games and cards. Nice lakefront property and easy access into the water for cooling off. Plenty of sleeping options and very large laundry room! Also 2 refrigerators are a plus!! We will return!!

Beautiful home and lake

We loved staying at this home. It has every possible household convenience. Bedrooms were perfect for our group, plenty of room. The outside property is great for fun family activities. The lake is very clean with a sandy bottom, caught many fish off the pier. I can't think of one negative thing about this home and property! We would definitely go back!

It was hard to leave this home!

Three generations of my family had a very enjoyable time at this property. The home was exactly as portrayed in the listing. If anything, some of the amenities were understated: e.g. children's furniture items, such as crib, high chair; children's toys and books; kitchen equipment and supplies. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend this destination.

Fantastic Find for Family Gathering

This house has it all, with no lack of space! Plenty of beds, bathrooms, seating for meals and even seating for relaxation!! Outdoor yard toys in garage and beautiful lake view!!!! Only 5 parking spots, but that wasn’t an issue. Loved it so much we re-booked the very last availability they had in July! Cannot wait to return!

Wedding Weekend

Our son was getting married at a nearby venue in Colon, MI. As all our family was from out of state I was looking for a spot where our family could stay all together. This property fit the bill perfectly. All ages from 87 down to 6 had a fun, comfortable, memorable four days. Beautiful lakefront property!
