Dear Tony, Thanks for this constructive review. We are surprised you are disappointed about the air conditioning as it is NOT mentioned in the description of the house. You also said that you slept well the first night after venting the house. Furthermore, you never complained during your stay that the pool was super cold which is kind of strange as the temperature of the ocean (that is way bigger than a swimming pool) is currently of 28°C/82°F in Tahiti. Great stay up in the hills!

We had a great stay in Punaauia, the house was lovely, with plenty of space for 6 of us. The view from up in the hills was spectacular, especially in the evening, watching the sunset. We loved sitting at the dining table on the terrace, eating dinner or having a drink, while the sun went down! Kitchen was well stocked with all the basics and a myriad of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Everywhere was spotless. Plenty of everything we needed. A great public beach at the bottom of the hill is the perfect compliment to the pool onsite. Also you have access to the owners snorkeling kit and beach mats/shade. Not many restaurants nearby, but there's a huge supermarket on the way from the airport, or there is a very decent mini-supermarket at the nearby petrol/gas station. Overall a great place to stay out of the main town of Papeete, very quiet, with amazing views of the ocean and over to Moorea.

Jolie villa un peu eloignee du centre

Nous avions loue villa Manuiti. Malheureusement celle ci a presente des problemes electriques juste avant notre arrivee. Nous avons choisis villa Tiare en remplacement. La villa en elle meme est tres bien mais nous voulions etre proches d'une autre famille avec qui nous partagions nos vacances. Bien sur cela a perturbe nos plans. L'agence etait tres au petit soins et nous a aide a trouver autre chose. Tous les agents ont ete tres gentils et repondant a nos attende.

Ce logement était juste parfait ! Un vue à couper le souffle, on était encore surpris jour après jour ! La maison est très bien équipée, très confortable, chaque détail nous plonge dans l’univers polynésien. Je recommande sans hésiter ce logement, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Breath taking views at a gorgeous property !!!

The Te Maru Atu AirBNB is absolutely gorgeous, relaxing, the views are breathtaking and the place is very comfortable. It is very easy to spend most of the time here watching ocean, sunset and sunrise. Will be visiting this place again 👍

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au mois de mai. La villa accueille facilement 6 personnes. La vue est magnifique. Située à 250 mètres en altitude, la villa bénéficie d'un climat plus doux qu'en bord de mer. Idéal pour profiter de la vie à l'écart de l'activité du bord de mer tout en étant à 5 minutes environ en voiture des plages de PK18.

Fabulous Stay

Our stay at Villa Tiare was fabulous. The Villa exceeded our expectations ….has been refurbished and the photos don’t reflect this. The view from the Villa was breathtaking.. the interior was stylish, kitchen very well equipped with everything you might need, beds comfy, plenty of space in house and garden , and spotlessly clean. The agency was responsive and helpful. Thoroughly recommend. If ever I am lucky enough to come back to Polynesia (from UK) I hope it’s available!

Villa Tiare was a fantastic place with great spaces & plenty of supplies & well equipped. Great location up on the hill with wonderful views across to Moorea & the beautiful & changing sunsets every night. We are already recommending Villa Tiare & Tahiti to our friends for a warm & sunny family holiday. Safe & secure property in a gated community. We'd like to book our next holiday there already! Close to supermarche & other shopping along with a few minutes drive to the beautiful PK18 plage de Vaiava.
