Lovely apartment - terrible building

The apartment is lovely - recently renovated, spacious, decently appointed kitchen and a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the building in which the apartment is located is very run down and there are groups of men hanging around in often unlit common and outdoor areas. We felt unsafe going in and out of the apartment (particularly at night), which really detracted from our experience of Cyprus. There is limited car parking on site and the parking that is available is hidden, at the back of the property in a disused tennis court and has no lighting whatsoever. If this apartment was located elsewhere, I’d give it 4 stars but unfortunately it’s location completely lets it down.
