A very comfortable farmhouse with everything one might need - from kitchen utensils, 1st aid kit, plenty of towels/washclothes, to comfortable chairs and nice king-size bed. The Owner, JR was quick and easy to communicate and most gracious and understanding. And the farmhouse location was superb - 10 minutes to the Pisgah National Forest for wonderful hiking, 10 minutes to Brevard and its world-class Music Festival, 45 minutes to Ashville with its many excellent restaurants, 30 minutes to Hendersonville, and 30-45 minutes to 8 superb vineyards/wineries. What more can you ask for such an accommodation and location?

Great location for accessing Pisgah Forest

Twice I have stayed here and used it as home base for doing day hikes in Pisgah Forest. Several trailheads just 15-20 minutes away.

Mountain Stay

The home was extremally clean, and well cared for. The host Mr Jr. was very helpful with the checkin & out process and areas to eat and lots of information on things to do while in the area. We will definitely vacation again with these folks.

Why they chose this property

Huge, convenient, clean, and relaxing. Very close to DuPont, Pisgah National Forest, Brevard, and Asheville. Everything you need to relax after a day on the trails.
We also have a bike wash station for cleaning and maintenance of bikes after experiencing the local trails.

What makes this property unique

Spacious, comfortable, shaded deck with views, large kitchen, two bathrooms. This is a large home. The entire spacious first floor is for use by guests. The second bedroom is located on the second floor with access to a first-floor bathroom. The detached buildings are not part of the rental agreement.
