This two story house is located in Clifton,YellowSprings, 3miles N. OfCedarville

The house is located in our garden and is close to many area attractions. The first floor has a full bathroom (shower only) situated in one corner . The remainder of the first floor (completely remodeled January 2023) is a living area , a fully equipped kitchen with a queen sized bed to one end that has a curtain partition.
On the second floor is a library/game room with a table/chairs and recliners on one half while the other half has two bedrooms with a full size bed in each room..
The front porch is a great place to relax , the separate patio area is great to sit and relax also and is the only permissible place to smoke on the property. Everyone is invited to tour the gardens or to find a quiet place to sit and relax.
We are 3 miles out of Yellow Springs and 1 1/2 blocks from the entrance to the Clifton Gorge. Glen Helen Reserve, John Bryan State Forest , The Indian mound trail in Cedarville are all within three miles.
Daytons' Air Force Museum, Springfields' Antique Extravaganza are only a couple of attractions that are within a thirty mile radius.
There is so much to do ! We have brochures and information located in the cabin.
Mostly we invite you to sit in the gardens and in the cabin for a quiet and relaxing retreat.

The nightly rate is $10.00 more for each additional guest of more than two. $145.00 is the nightly rate for one and two guests. Our weekends require a 2 night stay.

Our “sisters” weekend to get away and shop in Yellow Springs was extra special because of this hidden gem of a cottage. Everything was comfortable, charming & clean; and Ken is a most gracious host!The cottage is a little tricky to find at first, but worth driving around the block to locate it Thanks for a great weekend!

This place is so cute and comfy. The gardens, which guests are free to roam, are beautiful with many hidden treasures to enjoy. There are also unique and quirky things to find on display throughout the cabin. I truly enjoyed my stay there and will return, if possible.

What a gem in the Yellow Springs area! We came for a holiday weekend away and were personally greeted by Ken upon arrival. We were given a free pass for 2 to the Clifton Mill Christmas lights and being only a block away, not having to fight for parking was a treat! Being only 5 minutes from Yellow Springs meant easy access to all kinds of good food and all the other fun Dayton has to offer. The charm and whimsical nature of the cottage made a special trip even more magical. We will definitely be coming back here for southwest Ohio in all seasons.

We stayed at this property while dropping off our daughter at nearby Cedarville University. We loved the close proximity to the school...just down the street. Clean and cozy home...the gardens provided some peace for us on a weekend with lots of emotions. Host was accessible and responsive. We would stay here again when in the area. Our stay at the cottage was a 10!! The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. While we didn’t spend much time there because we were shopping the Springfield Antique Show for 2 days, we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the gardens while sitting on the porch-we even had a visit from a bunny rabbit :). Oasis garden within minutes of Yellow Springs!

From check-in to check-out, our hosts were perfectly helpful. The garden was a bonus, an oasis filled with lovely flowers, herbs, trees, and birds to help us relax. The cabin was super clean, and included everything--plus more--that we could ask for to make our stay pleasant and perfect. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely, relaxing stay in a quiet, unique cabin very close to Yellow Springs.

We were super happy with our stay at the cabin. The owner was very friendly and met us upon arrival. The cabin was spacious, well furnished and had wonderful little quirky decorations we kept finding. The cabin was definitely bigger than my wife and I needed, better suited for more people but we will 100% recommend this property and will be back next year for our visit to Ohio.

Nice cabin

Great location. Close to everything. Ken the owner was very courteous and helpful throughout. The cabin is very quaint and has some interesting little areas and coves. The backyard is beautiful landscaping and has little path and areas that you can walk through. that was really pretty.Would definitely go back and recommend
