Make all your beach dreams come true at this renovated, second-floor studio condo ideal for a small family vacation or a romantic getaway at the Gulf Coast. Prepare meals in the full kitchen, relax on your private balcony, and enjoy the fitness center.

Take a short stroll on the boardwalk and step out onto the adjacent beach where you can sunbathe on the sugar-white sand and swim in the warm, emerald water. Book a tee time and challenge the 18 holes of the adjacent Kiva Dunes Golf Course or hop in the car and drive 15 miles east to discover shops, restaurants, and several popular attractions throughout downtown Gulf Shores.

THINGS TO KNOW
Guests must buy parking passes online before their stay, and up to two will be allotted. Details on how to purchase will be provided after booking. The fee schedule is $25 (1-3 nights), $35 (4-6 nights), $45 (7-14 nights), and $60 (15+ nights).

Simple but Nice

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. It is small but comfortable. It has everything we needed for a weekend stay. Definitely not feasible for more than two people, in my opinion. Its close to everything and perfect for a single person or couple who need a quiet getaway.

When we arrived to the condo the smell was almost overwhelming. I did communicate this via text that it smelled very moldy inside the unit and it was “reported” but never heard anything back from anyone. The unit itself was small but the right size for 2 adults and 1 child. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals “at home”. The bed was comfortable but very creaky. The pull out served its purpose but needs replaced. The view from the patio was nice. We loved that the beach was a short walk from the condo and a couple of pools were super close.

We loved the location, short walk to the beach and pools. The unit its self needs a deep clean and updating. Size was good for 2 adults and 1 child. The bed was comfortable and clean but creaky. The pull out served its purpose for a small child however I don’t think an adult would get any sleep on it. The water pressure in the shower was great and the kitchen had everything we needed to make “at home” meals. Cons: when we arrived the unit had a strong smell of mold, it was “reported” but never heard anything more from Vacasa. We could also hear all the outside noise coming from the unit above.

Not worth the money!

This unit has not been well taken care of. It is in need of a deep cleaning and needs many repairs and updates. The couch is filthy and stinks. Upon arrival the floor was dirty and sandy. I would not recommend this unit!

Decent for the price

Our stay was overall pretty ok. The sofa bed did feel pretty unstable and the leg that held it up felt like it was going to slip out at anytime. Also underneath the mattress protector of the sofa bed, the mattress was disgusting. Sand and other debris all underneath it. There was little black hairs on some of our shower towels. There was a dust pan but no broom?? So any sand that we tracked it we couldn’t clean up ourself which was pretty annoying. The walk to the beach is short and convenient.

False Listing

This is the absolute worst condo I’ve ever stayed in. This listing says it’s recently renovated. Nothing in the place is renovated. All of the furniture is from the 90’s, which would be fine if it was in good shape. Kitchen cabinet door almost fell off the wall when opened, towel rack fell off the wall when a towel was pulled off of it. Trash on the floor, stained pillowcase, both of our windows were opened when we checked in…weird. Paint cans in the closet where you keep clothes, paint peeling off of the kitchen mirror. First condo I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t provide coffee. Pictures barely hanging on the wall. Chipped paint on all of the walls. Just ridiculous!

Not Good

First thing you notice is the strong possibility of black mold covering and next to most of the A/C vents, toilet seal repaired with caulking, bathroom outlet with side cut off to fit next to the backsplash possibly allowing water intrusion into the junction box, water spraying in the air from the kitchen faucet, small bugs on the kitchen counter. There was nothing the repairman could do but give a report of these issues to his boss. He said they would have to replace the entire ceiling to get rid of the mold.

Beautiful place!

Wonderful place to vacay! The Condo was perfect for two people! Very clean, short beautiful walk thru the courtyard straight to the sand! More of a private beach compared to the Public beach in Gulf Shores! Wonderful time of year with great weather! Will definitely be back!

March 2021 Beach Trip

The unit is older including the furniture, the bed was super creaky and made noise with every slightest movement, and you have to climb in the end as it it surrounded by wall space. There’s a hole in bathroom door. We had small ants on kitchen counters when we arrived and sand was on the floors. Woke up one night to a small lizard on the dresser by the bed. Cable tv never worked we tried calling several times and sent email but never got through or heard back from anyone. There’s lots of construction and areas are blocked including lots of parking around the complex. The pool area was nice and clean as well as the beach. Overall we still enjoyed ourselves and tried to make the best of our trip. Just tried to not spend much time in room. Would of liked better communication when we tried to reach out before and even during our trip.

Too small to be comfortable.

The view was good. The bed alcove was so small it was impossible to walk beside bed. Had to crawl on from bottom. Couch tilted forward and felt would slide off it. Little drop leaf table was full of sand. TV provided almost nothing to watch without paying.

Perfect for a Girls’ trip

This was a small condo perfect for a weekend away for the moms. The space provided a full kitchen appropriately sleeping for 3 adults. The Plantation is a wonderful property that offers pool and restroom access and is right on the Gulf. The beaches were beautiful! Can’t wait to return.
