Great little condo

This condo worked out great for what we were needing. The price was right, it was clean, and had enough room for everyone, even being a small condo. There are few things that could be updated, like the sofa bed and the shower, that would make it nearly perfect. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

We had some issues that hopefully the property manager fixes with pests. Other than that the size of the unit was very small and the amenities were not well maintained. The size is better than a hotel room, however, a hotel would have been nicer. Overall, it worked for us. It was a great location, nice view of the beach, and the main pool was close by. The price was good.

Great Location and View of the Beach and Ocean!

Layout is a little small and different, Couch was in pretty bad shape, Can definitely tell it's a well used rental. We stayed right After Spring Break, So some of the damaged electrical outlets, trim and things may have been damaged and not had time to repair yet. Not totally disappointed, But for the Money, kind of expected a little nicer.

Adequate for needs but needs improvements.

Evidence of mice on first inspection. After second night it helped themselves to our loaf of bread. Dust covered walls, lamp shades, and decor on walls. Shower curtain inner plastic linear has mold on lower half. Shower curtain could use just regular rings. The metal hooks kept pulling themselves off.

The place was nice enough. The couple things that were an issue was the bed. It was absolutely awful. Felt like sleeping in a bowl. The other thing was that the kitchen light flashed like a strobe light so there was minimal light to cook dinner and even though someone came to look at it they couldn’t fix it. Other than that we had a nice time there.

Babies 1st beach trip

I booked this property for a birthday trip for me and my wife and so my infant son could go to the beach for the first time. The room is on the small side, I would not recommend it for larger families or groups but for infants or a getaway with your partner this is the perfect spot. The furniture was fine as well as the cookware, was disappointed with the screen door as it did not slide open and close properly so we weren’t able to use it. The bathtub stopper did not work as well so we couldn’t give out a child a proper bath instead we elected to just shower him. The ice machine in the freezer also had a damaged switch so there was no way of shutting it off. Overall this room is in a wonderful resort with direct access to the beach and super short walk to any of the pools. I would probably use this room again for future gulf shore/fort Morgan trips :)

Not overly happy

We have a few complaints about the property. First the coffee pot doesn’t work so we had to go buy one. The AC stopped blowing during the first night and I found the filter completely stopped up (dated 2/22 last change). I changed the filter and got the AC working (I have pictures of the filter). The same day the hot water heater went out and almost caught on fire. We had to finish the vacation without hot water. The bed in the master bedroom was terrible.. The box spring looks bowed and the mattress is so worn out you almost need help to climb out of the bed. The overall beach experience was great!! Love the location. The issues with the condo made the experience less then what it should have been

NO SLEEP!!!!!

This was hands down the worst place ever! Where do I start? First this was the smallest 1 bedroom "condo" I have ever stayed in. It should be listed as a hotel room. The listing said it slept 4 comfortably. Nope! The sofa bed was impossible to open and the mattress was mildewed. I went out and bought an air mattress. The bunk beds are literally no wider than a book shelf. There is no dishwasher although we were given dishwasher pods. The bathroom door stuck. The floors were so sandy. we had to call and request a broom which ws delivered to us. I did like the location of the room. Until I realized it was at the entrance of the building and considering the walls were paper thin we could Hera every person that walked by. I am convinced there were ten kids upstairs doing river dance. I could not sleep and neither could my guest.

Review of Plantation 2105

1. The view was exactly what we wanted. 2. The structure was adequate. 3. The couch/cushions needed upgrading. 4. The bedroom mattress was DEFINITELY in need of replacement. We flipped it ourselves and that did not help. 5. The hallway ceiling light fixture globe between the bathroom and the bedroom was missing - with only an exposed lightbulb. This was reported upon arrival. A staff person took a picture of the ceiling light fixture without the globe. 6. There was only one plastic chair on the balcony. A staff person took a picture of the chair. 7. On Monday, Feb 14, we were leaving the unit to explore and could not get the door to lock. Multiple attempts to call the number provided AND selecting various options yielded no one answering and no way to leave a voice mail. We tried calling 3 different times before my husband locked the door from inside and jumped off of the balcony to exit so we could start our day. We were able to get in touch with staff on Tuesday to report the door locking problem. Once reported, a worker arrived within the hour and replaced the batteries in the door lock. 8. Water seemingly ran all the time in the walls of the bathroom. 9. Multiple tiles were cracked/broken in the kitchen. 10. We realize that using mirrors gives the illusion of space, but there are just too many mirrors covering entire walls of this unit (entry hallway and main room), various framed mirrors on various walls. 11. The bed linens were adequate along with the quality of bath towels, etc. 12. The sliding door lock was not operational...only the metal rod attached to the wall secured the door. 13. The gift bag with playing cards and wine opener were nice, thank you along with the small glass bottle with seashells - we added a little sand for great memories. 14. A listing of recommended local restaurants that locals enjoy would have been nice. We also list our guest bedroom and guest bathroom on a BnB site. We understand the nature of this business and wanted to provide specific suggestions to assist. Thank you for sharing this property and allowing us to stay. Sam & Joe

Great Getaway

I loved this condo! It has a view of the ocean from the balcony. It is located very close to the boardwalk that leads to the beach. There are 2 different swimming pools just steps from the front door. I will definitely rent this condo again.

Absolutely fantastic

Beautiful scenery, landscaping and layout. Everything was clean and welcoming. Only one issue I have about the gym. When you book it tells you there is a gym available. When they send you the check in info (a week before you arrive) they tel you the gym has been closed since hurricane sally. This needs to be on the page where you are viewing the property BEFORE you book.

Great views and great location

We stayed for 3 days and it was perfect. Not sure why the bad reviews. The room was clean and put together nicely. The walk on the boardwalk to the beach is not that long and it is right outside your room. We never left the area of Fort Morgan. There was several good restaurants to choose from and a dollar general right down the road if you forgot something. The only thing is if you are wanting true quiet time on your balcony then that won't happen until after everybody leaves the pool. Even though it has a closing time people were there past it. But it was not a problem for us.
