Very nice, quiet property. Comfortable beds and common spaces. Hot tub very relaxing. There were a couple pieces of garbage left behind in one bedroom.
It was a nice stay! Overall we like the vacation. If the property manager can change the bedding that will be really great otherwise we loved it the place!
The cabin was extremely clean and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. We had a power outage when we were there and the generator kicked in immediately so we didn't miss a beat.
Overall cabin was nice, but the bed frames were cheap and one almost completely fell apart on us. Young children could have been hurt by it. Told the owner and wasn't offered any compensation to make up for it. All I was told was "thanks for telling us."

For full transparency to those reading this review: the guest emailed us at 8:30 a.m. on the morning of their departure. During their stay, they did not contact the maintenance line we provide for the issue so we assumed this happened the day they were departing. We were unaware they were seeking compensation related to 1 loose bolt in the bed frame. Receiving a two-star rating is difficult for a small business like ours, especially when we were not given the opportunity to address the issue in real time. We encourage guests to contact maintenance immediately if any problems arise, as we work very hard to provide a five-star experience.
Below is our response to the guest’s email:
“Thank you for letting us know. We were not aware of this issue during your stay. From the photo, it appears the bed frame may be broken rather than simply unbolted, though it’s difficult to tell. We’re relieved no one was injured, and our maintenance team will repair or replace it immediately.”
We booked this cabin for a family wedding at Hicking Hills wedding chapel. Proximity to the chapel and restaurant was good. The cabin was just as described. The property was beautiful. We had an amazing time. Just wish we had more time to relax and enjoy the property.

Absolutely fantastic get away! A cabin in the woods with no people around was my goal. This place had everything you need to get away from it all. Hiked the state park and lived my best life for 4 days. We had hocking hills traveling massage come out right to the cabin which was another bonus. Highly recommend to anyone looking for peace in their life. Thank you for saving my soul!
The cabin was exactly as advertised, great size for our group (5 adults, 3 kids). Extremely quiet, we didn't hear any neighbors for the entire stay. The back of the cabin faces a ravine and wooded hillside, was really peaceful sitting outside in the hot tub or the screened in porch and deck. Place was spotless when we got there, appeared to be really well maintained and had all the kitchen supplies and stuff that we needed. The kitchen counter space was a bit limited but the big dining room table was great for meals and games for a big group. Would come back again!
This cabin was perfect to spend the week after Christmas. We had plenty of room for our 9 guests and pet. It was a perfect location… out of city in the woods but 48 mins from Columbus Airport for the family that had to fly in to visit. Hot tub was wonderful. Only 20 minutes from Walmart for food supplies or restaurants. No issues with arrival or departure and when we couldn’t get the gas fireplace to light, maintenance was there within 30 minutes to fix! Highly recommend.
We didn't realize it was on such a narrow road. It was amazing though. The narrow road just added to the thrill of mountainous experience. I mounted my wife to. lot of mounting going on. lol Very happy with our stay. Can't wait to go back!!!
